I have a 1st gen tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lens for my nikon d80... will this work on fuji xt3? tamron lens does not have an aperture ring.

The adapter is designed for Nikon lenses, including D mount. If the Tamron fits the Nikon D80 it should work. As for the lack of aperture ring on the Tamron ... not sure about that. Perhaps the Nikon D80 has an in camera aperture selection.

I have the Nikon F mount version and it works with the GH5. It's all manual focus, of course. There is no lens data transmitted to the camera.

No the other way this is to be able to mount the Nikon lenses onto the micro 4/3 camera body

Will this adapter work with older Nikon legacy (manual focus/aperature) lenses? If not, is there such a thing?

You should order one for every manual Nikon lens you want to use with you Sony mirrorless camera.
