I love macro photography and recently brought a regular speedlight (albeit a compact one) so that I could take it around with me; a bit of a pain, if I'm honest, with having the diffuser on it and trying to get the best light. Then I noticed this one a month after, and it was even cheaper, so I thought I would try it.I actually have 2 macro lenses over the years, a Nikon F mount and a Nikon Z mount, and there is an important thing you need to do with the Z mount lens; do not mount the flash to the lens part, which moves in and out, attach it with a larger adapter to the outer case. This is because it will put undue pressure on the lens and can result in lens motor failure. I did a lot of research on that, so I thought you should know.Loved the fact that it came with so many adapters, as I was a bit worried I was going to have to find some to fit my lenses.The light is beautifully even that comes out of it and really makes your picture pop, and the cable to the main unit is soft and flexible and doesn't pull against front. Very simple controls on the back to adjust the power, and so far, I've only needed the lowest setting for macro work, although I'm sure the higher setting will come in useful for portraits (not tried that yet).

I enjoy macro photography and was very happy when Nikon announced the 105mm f2.8 Micro lens for the Z mount cameras.The lens is larger than than the F mount counterpart, but not as heavy. It produces outstanding images, sharp from corner to corner. As a S-line Z mount lens, it has a customizable control ring and function button.Focusing is quick and silent, and the lens includes a focus-limiting switch to limit the working distance for close up work. It also has 4.5 stops of VR, so while you may not want to necessarily ditch the tripod for true macro work, you can use this in the field with confidence if you are not traveling with a tripod. The included photo was taken handheld.Highly recommended!

I love this mount. It is not compatible with the Nikon FTZ adapter unless you move it from the body to the adapter or buy another mount just for the adapter. I’ve hike a couple mountains and bustled through crowds without fail using this mount.

 FIRST OF ALL, i need to say THANK YOU to the seller for their AMAZING! OUTSTANDING! SPECTACULAR! Customer service. So let me tell y’all a little back story. I usually get all of my packages delivered to my work address, due to that being the location I am at more often than my home. So, i guess due to all of this COVID19, Canada Post has started “weekend delivery” and unbeknownst to me, delivering on SUNDAYS.. one of the days I don’t work, lol of course. Obviously I wasn’t at work on Sunday, so Canada Post took back the package and i received a notification on my phone saying that the business is closed, and will be held. When i arrived to work on Monday Morning, they didn’t leave one of those “We tried to deliver cards” or anything advising me on the next steps.Alright cool.. so I called Canada Post, i was on what seemed to be the longest hold of my life, and when someone finally answered they were of little to no help to me.Slightly irritated and frustrated, because WHO DELIVERS TO A BUSINESS ON SUNDAY.. I send a contact email to the seller, literally within minutes, I receive a response asking for my phone number.Literally 2 mins after that, I receive a phone call. The customer service is so incredible they were able to rectify the situation and did their due diligence to ensure the camera had another delivery attempt the very next day.I ordered it on Wednesday, May 20th and I kid you not, it was shipped out that very night!Everything was BRAND NEW, neatly packaged, in the box, all manuals, battery, camera strap. It is so lightweight, easy to use, different filters, functions. Just an amazing camera that’s very easy to use.I have honestly been researching cameras for the past 3 years, and i’ve been scared to commit and spend nearly $800 online without seeing the product physically.. but i’m so happy the universe aligned me with this seller!I know i was OD detailed, but I only give reviews when I feel like it’s deserved. Does carry Nikon 1-year World wide warranty, though I failed to see that special slip reference 2 years Canadian Warranty. Normally when I purchase Nikon products from approved vendors in Canada, the box typically includes that special slip, that adds to the standard 1 year warranty.However, the Warranty slip did have "Nikon Canada" pre-printed on the slip. That leads me to believe it is a bonafide product,supported by Nikon Canada.Pricing was much better than B&H, after exchange, freight & clearance.The flash itself is amazing, easy menu system. Have not had the opportunity to do a stress test and verify temperature shut-off nuisance typical of the earlier SB-900.AR

Ohmygurd, this is an extremely stable tripod!I'm able to mount a nearly 20 lb precision rifle on it, and it has practicallas very little vibration.

I bought this product for a friend and had it shipped to her in Canada. She loves it!
