Fits perfect for my tripod that came w my Nikon cool pix . I screw it on and pop my cell in for recording

I was looking at the nikon d3100 and this camera for awhile. I just liked the canon body better. Very easy to use and I am slowing learning to use some of the advance features. I got it on an early Black Friday sale for $340 so it was a no brainer. Really like using the portrait feature.

I love this mount. It is not compatible with the Nikon FTZ adapter unless you move it from the body to the adapter or buy another mount just for the adapter. I’ve hike a couple mountains and bustled through crowds without fail using this mount.

For strenuous travel conditions, we bought separate lens and body bags for our Nikon D3300. Didn't use it very much (as expected) because most of the time we could use the body/lens bag. However, it worked great when we did need it to allow the lens and body to be separated for transit. Fits the Nikon D3300 perfectly.

I was only able to put 2 screws in a 4 screw mount did not match my holes

I have had this camera for about a year now and here are my feelings on it as far as the features I have used.Excellent stabilization (although this feature when turned on in the settings sometimes doesn’t stick in the memory so if the camera turned off sometimes I would have to turn it back on and sometimes it would already be on.)Sound (it was very tinny and wasn’t great but it works) the wind or noise reduction helped but it has the same issue as the stabilization where it would sometimes already be on and sometimes it would be turned off when starting the camera up)The picture is great and the anti warp works well.I love the time lapse video feature.The touch screen controls were a little difficult for my fingers to navigate because the touch sometimes needed more pressure depending where I touched it.The major issue with my camera is where the screw is on the bottom to connect it to mounts. A mount had pressure applied to it and the screw twisted and when it twisted it broke the grey encasement that houses the camera guts. Now when trying to twist in a mount it just spins and spins in the camera body. I tried super glue multiple times to fix it but it won’t work for long.(This issue is most likely my fault and not the fault of the camera build but I don’t know when or how it happened)The positive of all that is that despite it breaking the camera body the camera still works although I need to put it in a waterproof case to mount it since the mount screw on the bottom won’t stay in place.The AKASO app also is nice because you can it wireless shows the video on your phone and you can adjust the settings from the app. I’ve had no issues with the app. It’s pretty straight forward.I would definitely reccomend this camera for a budget action cam. I felt more emboldened to put this camera in some places I normally wouldn’t put other more expensive action cams because I wasn’t worried about losing a lot of money if I broke it. It is worth the money for the picture and features.

Great value for the money and super to install. It even comes with a screw to mount it.

I got this to replace a t-post mount I had for my trail camera that had rusted solid and couldn't be adjusted anymore. I use my trail camera around the house watching the local deer and other wildlife so I am constantly moving it around the yard. I had no intention of driving a lag screw into my trees but it looks like that part will work for that. I got it on the hunch that it would mount onto other 1' ball mount parts like "Ram" and others. I have a post clamp with a ball I confirmed it with and am using to mount my trail camera to my chain link fence.This seems like a rubber ball cast over a steel screw and the center piece is plastic with a steel screw, so these are as corrosion resistant as name brand Ram mounts but we will see how long they last.
