I wish I had of seen this before
I love macro photography and recently brought a regular speedlight (albeit a compact one) so that I could take it around with me; a bit of a pain, if I'm honest, with having the diffuser on it and trying to get the best light. Then I noticed this one a month after, and it was even cheaper, so I thought I would try it.I actually have 2 macro lenses over the years, a Nikon F mount and a Nikon Z mount, and there is an important thing you need to do with the Z mount lens; do not mount the flash to the lens part, which moves in and out, attach it with a larger adapter to the outer case. This is because it will put undue pressure on the lens and can result in lens motor failure. I did a lot of research on that, so I thought you should know.Loved the fact that it came with so many adapters, as I was a bit worried I was going to have to find some to fit my lenses. The light is beautifully even that comes out of it and really makes your picture pop, and the cable to the main unit is soft and flexible and doesn't pull against front. Very simple controls on the back to adjust the power, and so far, I've only needed the lowest setting for macro work, although I'm sure the higher setting will come in useful for portraits (not tried that yet).

Another Winning Z Mount Lens from Nikon
I enjoy macro photography and was very happy when Nikon announced the 105mm f2.8 Micro lens for the Z mount cameras. The lens is larger than than the F mount counterpart, but not as heavy. It produces outstanding images, sharp from corner to corner. As a S-line Z mount lens, it has a customizable control ring and function button.Focusing is quick and silent, and the lens includes a focus-limiting switch to limit the working distance for close up work. It also has 4.5 stops of VR, so while you may not want to necessarily ditch the tripod for true macro work, you can use this in the field with confidence if you are not traveling with a tripod. The included photo was taken handheld.Highly recommended!

Solid mount. Possibly the best accessory in my kit
I love this mount. It is not compatible with the Nikon FTZ adapter unless you move it from the body to the adapter or buy another mount just for the adapter. I’ve hike a couple mountains and bustled through crowds without fail using this mount.

Exceptional adapters that focus to infinity with m
Part 1 - Minolta MD to Sony NEX adapterTechnically, it slightly overshoots infinity but the issue is easily corrected by dialing back the focus ring just a tad --- Not exact but clearly better than not-at-all.Although very light due to extensive aluminum usage, the build quality and fit-and-finish of the adapter is superb. Connections on the lens and camera mount sides are tight and precise --- absolutely, zero slop. The top of the lens release button is flattened making the lens removal process very easy and comfortable.Other notes:- There are no electrical connections so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens itself- When mounting the lens, turn the adapter clockwise till you hear a "click"- Tested with a Minolta 85mm f/1.7 Rokkor-X MD lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera-----------------------Part 2 - Nikon Ai to Sony NEX adapterEdit: Based on my positive experience with the Minolta MD adapter, I also purchased the Nikon Ai adapter later. As with the Minolta MD adapter, the Nikon Ai version focuses beyond infinity a tiny bit. Fortunately, the same solution applies - dial back the focus ring and the horizon will become crystal clear. The build quality is impeccable and the finish is smooth and clean of burrs or machine marks. Connections on both sides are taut and precise with zero play.Additional notes for Nikon Ai adapter:- No electrical connections present so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens.- Unlike the Minolta MD adapter, mounting the lens for Nikon adapter requires a counter-clockwise turn until you hear the "click" of the locking mechanism- Tested with a Nikon Micro Nikkor 55m f/2.8 Ai-S MF lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera

A great value for beginning or experienced astro!
I got these binocs and the Vanguard aluminium binoc tripod adapter (I didn't even consider using the plastic adapter provided) to use as astro spotters for my DSLR tracking mount. First light was tonight. In preparation, this afternoon I got the eyepieces set for my eye differences (I wear glasses and have a slight astigmatism) and I added the tripod adapter (it went on easily) and then I added the setup to a monopod with a pistol grip ball head mount. I spent some time looking around the neighborhood and I was quite impressed with the resolution and no collimation error. Tonight I took the setup out and I observed Jupiter with Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto hanging down like a string of pearls - quite a special view, sorry my mount and camera was inside, all packed up. I then swiveled over to the Orion Nebula and it looked great. I poked around for a bit and ended up with the Pleiades filling the FOV. Were they a little fuzzy out at the very edges of the FOV? - Yes. A big deal? - No. Can these binoculars split a double? - Maybe on a tripod or with a parallelogram mount with great seeing. But for $60 these binocs are an incredible deal; I could not be happier with my purchase. I thought I was just getting some spotting gear for my DSLR work; instead, I got a "grab and go" setup I can leave in the car and not worry about, or toss in my luggage for some out of town observing. This gear with a decent tripod mount and pistol grip ball head on a monopod is so easy to use, you'll need a really big excuse not to head out and do some viewing.

does the job you would want it to do
i used this for the nikon camera works fine with one small issue it is slightly difficult to mount the camera on top when the double joint piece is tightened this stops you from being able to freely screw in your camera this is not an issue for me but if someone wants securely in the same place every time this can be annoying because you have to loosen it to efficiently attach the camera in minimal time
