We purchased the Ecotones machine in May of 2011. It has been an excellent buy and has helped greatly to filter out nighttime noises that occur in our neighborhood at random times. We especially like the volume control and the way the sound volume automatically adjusts to the level of external noises. Our favorite setting is the waterfall. And the company provides great support. After a recent storm-related power surge, the unit stopped working. One short email later, we received a new micro sd card and instructions to replace the damaged one. After a few minutes, we had a working unit again. Kudos to Jack and the Adaptive Sound Technologies team!

Very nice "warm" light effect. The ability to dimm as needed is a great feature to make light an area exactly as you like it at any time of the day or night. Very easy to install. The only drawback is that one or two of the lights should have longer cords to reach areas further away as needed. Even an additional 5 feet on one or two lights would be helpful. Customer service is also great if you have any needs or questions.

We have absolutely loved our machine. The speaker is far superior to any of the cheap units offered at Bed Bath and Beyond or wherever. And there's no looping to drive you crazy! We mainly use the white noise setting for our daughter but have tried out the others for ourselves and liked them all. (The fireplace is a favorite of mine.) Highly recommend.

I live in a noisy urban area on a low floor, and have tried numerous machines over the years to help with creating a nice sounding environment to sleep while drowning out the street noise. By fat the Ecotones is the best machine I have tried, my favorite is the Rain sound, but there are many other sounds you can choose as well. You can also control the richness and create different type of custom levels of sound as well.....I highly recommend this machine to anyone who lives in a noisy area and needs help going to sleep!

Just received lights both are very bright. Only down side is the cord VERY short. But I did read that in the reviews so I knew other then that so far so good.

My current lock is over twenty years old--still working. I ordered three locks for other doors for extra security.
