Wanted to be able to mount my small digital camera to look through windshield and then use its great video function. The mount held the camera perfectly still when driving and the video was virtually vibration free.Easy to mount and does exactly as advertised.

I have a Pentax *ist Digital SLR, and the factory external flash is over $150. This is a steal at the Amazon price, and does just as well as the factory flash would.

This is a great camera for anyone upgrading from a fixed lens digital, especially if you have lenses from your film based EOS like I do. Am very happy with this purchase. Amazon had the best price with no hassel.

Digital correction is applied heavily on R mount canon cameras with this lens, but the end result is excellent. It’s not perfect.. coma is obvious with Astro-photography. But for the price, TINY size and weight.. I love it !! Ditching my old 16-35 in favour of this little gem.

For quite some time I was wanting to get a digital SLR camera, because I was sick and tired of the shutter lag that regular digital cameras have. Though I was happy with the pictures my Konica Minolta Dimage Z10 made - especially outdoors, I dreaded to make pictures indoors or trying to capture moving objects on picture (now you see me, now you don't).So I was contemplating for month which digital SLR I wanted and needed. Since this is my first camera of this kind and I'm merely a hobby fotographer, I didn't want to shell out several grands. But I wanted something that had enough "oomph" to it to justify the price tag. So I looked into the Canon Rebel XTi, Nikon D40, Olympus E30 and Olympus E50. The thing I didn't like about the Olympus was the fact, that it seems that I had to buy Olympus picture cards and they are kinda pricy.So I went back and forth between the Canon Rebel XTi and the Nikon D40. Then I looked into the XSi and read the repords on amazon.com and other sites, compared both Canon cameras side by side. After a week or two I finally decided to spend a bit more but have a few more extras with my camera.And I had a lot of fun in the last few days with this camera. I can take pictures with it, that come out clear and vivid even in lower light indoors. I would have had smudgy blurrs with my other camera under the same condition. Right now I am only using the Canon lens EF 50 f/1.8 II for it's higher sensitivity to light, but wait until I go on vacation to Northern Germany in 2 weeks and I will try out the lens that came with the camera. Can't hardly wait!In a nutshell: So far I haven't regreded my desicion to buy this camera!To see a few pictures that I took in the first couple of days owning this camera using this lens

I am a new parent and my husband and I spent several months discussing whether or not we should invest in a new camera, one with better capabilities than my old Kodak digital. After a lot of research, we decided this Canon was the best bang for our buck. It does have more few more features than we need, but not too many, which is excellent as my husband and I are not photographers by any means. This camera is very easy to handle. The instruction book is really clear and concise, making the set up very smooth. Once you've got the lens in the right place and you've programmed the time and date, the camera pretty much takes care of the rest. The quality of the photos is just amazing and it was the perfect purchase for a set of parents whose infant will move by the time the auto-focus of a regular digital camera can take the photo. The only thing I would recommend you buy in addition to this camera is a pack of lens cloths. Sometimes dust and the occasional drop of water can get on the lens, which will show up on your picture and you can't use paper towels or facial tissue to wipe it clean. Although we have not tried shooting at night or a sporting event yet, overall, I have to say I love this camera and can't think of a better investment for my family.

Now I can use my favorite film camera lens again with a digital camera.

These keepers are good. Arrived in time, and fit really well around the lens barrels of a Pentax FA 35mm, DA 18-55mm and even the Tamron 70-300 Telmacro. Everything as described, hope the adhesive spot sticks well on the cap.
