Good strap for a heavy camera.I bought this strap (design B) for my Pentax 67 medium formal SLR.The wide neoprene strap pad really makes carrying a heavier camera more convenient. Surprisingly, the neoprene did not get too hot even hiking in 27C/81F weather.It is lined with rubber dots on the bottom to keep it from sliding. These rubber dots work great if you have a t-shirt on, but if you have a tank top or exposed skin, the rubber dots would get irritating as it would be causing friction against the skin.With a camera the weight of a medium format SLR, you will likely still want a bag if you have the camera with you all day as it is a lot of weight hanging off your neck. In addition, for the Pentax 67 at minimum, likely others, as the strap connects to the top two studs on the camera, the bottom of the camera will press into your body as it is unsupported. This was minor for short periods, but got tedious while hiking.

I have a Pentax *ist Digital SLR, and the factory external flash is over $150. This is a steal at the Amazon price, and does just as well as the factory flash would.

This is my first digital SLR camera and I have to say I could not be happier with it. With a little playing around I was able to start getting professional quality pictures in no time at all. I upgraded from a Lumix point and shoot camera and I can't believe the difference in quality. I highly recommend this as a first DSLR camera.Pros:Camera functions easily right out of the bag with a half charged battery.Buttons are easy to read and nice and big.Camera displays what each setting does on the viewing screen. Adapter allows us to use old lenses with our digital camera. Perfect!

This is my first digital SLR, and I have immensely enjoyed thus far. I bought this one because the price was palatable, and it had been recommended to me by several friends. I have not been disappointed. I am learning a lot about photography in general right now, and I feel that this is a great camera to learn on.

For the price, it can't be beat. If you're using it for something heavy, you'd probably want to spend more. I'm using it for a Pentax DSLR camera. I'm not using lenses that are too big. I did some night shots of the sky/forest and they turned out great.

For someone who is used to a non-digital SLR, you will feel right at home with this one. All the same functions are there, just shown on a menu to select electronically, instead of with manual adjustments. You can use this as a point-and-shoot digital, or you can play to your heart's content. The lens is great, and you can add a telephoto lens if you want. It will take some learning for someone whose only experience is with a digital, but is a good choice for someone who wants to convert to digital from manual without losing all the versatility of the SLR camera.

I have put this in my Pentax SLR camera, using the enclosed adaptor. It gives me the option to take thousands of photos before I need to clean it out and transfer them to my computer. it also is a good speed for taking multi pictures.
