Are use this Lens mount on my new canon M 50, unfortunately the camera was defective but the lense mount did its job.

I was looking for a chest strap mount and decided to go ahead and get the whole 50 in 1 kit instead. The price was too good to pass up. I love all the options this has opened up and I am using my GoPro more than ever. Quality has been good on everything I've used and they all have worked great.

This lens feels more like a toy than a piece of optics. It utilizes plastic construction right down to the lens mount (the lenses are glass of course). This light material combined with the small size (2.7" x 1.6"/68.2mm x 41.0mm - WxL) puts this lens in the featherweight class - 4.6 oz (130g). The 50 f/1.8 is currently Canon's lightest. It was also Canon's shortest EOS-mount lens until the Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Lens was introduced. The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens delivers very sharp images as inexpensively as Canon lenses get.The 50 f/1./8 bears a plastic lens mount. Considering how light the 50 f/1.8 II lens is, the plastic lens mount seems adequate from a strength perspective. You might get more wear than you wish if you are changing the lens frequently.Autofocus is driven by a micro motor. Focus speed is not stellar, but fine in good light with subjects that are not moving too quickly. The 50 f/1.8 II is one of Canon's louder/buzzier lenses - you know when it is focusing. But this is not a wildlife lens - and the noise probably won't bother most people. I suppose a positive aspect of the sound is that you know when it is working - and when it is finished working - when focus is locked. FTM (Full Time Manual) focusing is not included. The 50 f/1.8 extends up to 5/16" during focusing - the very small 52mm filter does not rotate.All in all, I truly enjoy using this lens for my B-roll for my Youtube channel and the webpage. As well as having those awesome blur shot background. i highly recommend purchase this lens cause its inexpensive and a good lens to have around because of its size and the picture quality.

Bought this “nifty 50” because it’s reccomended as the first lens to own when you expand beyond your kit lenses. It’s definitely a great lens for an incredible price! One of the things I love most about it is that it’s a prime lens, meaning I had to learn to position myself better for a shot, instead of using a zoom. This is huge for creativity and learning. The lens itself is great. Sharp, clear images every time. It does take a little while to learn what settings worn best to achieve those results, but once you figure it out it’s amzing. The lens is super lightweight and compact as well so you can easily throw it in a bag or even a jacket pocket to take with you. Would definitely recommend it.

The nifty 50.The fantastic plastic.It's by far the best bang for the buck for any lens for any camera for anybody looking to step up their photography game. It's f1.8 so low light isn't an issue. Autofocus is quick, quiet and accurate. I had this lens, it was my favorite. Moving up the ladder to any f1.4 lens, you'll be spending 2 to 5 times as much for slightly better image quality so if you're a budget photographer then this is the best investment you can ever make.

These work great in my older Pentax ZX-7 camera body. Film bodies tend to sip on power anyways, so I expect these to last me a really long time.
