Studio platform
I bought this for in studio videos and it works very well for that. This is our primary studio tripod and would also be okay as a placed viewing staged events. This is much to heavy for a mobile tripod.

Parent of a difficult sleeper
This has been great for my son with ADHD and sensory processing disorder. It's difficult to fall asleep as well as stay asleep. This drowns out other household noises and helps him have a more restful night. It has a timer, but I leave it on all night for him. The dog or other family members make noise at all hours. Wish I thought of this sooner!

Very happy with this buy. The remote shutter and iphone attachment are nice additions. Tripod is easy to control, collapse and extend. The material seems like it will last.

Good product
Worked well for the price no complaints. Lights are bright enough and shows white leds. There are 3 modes for high medium and low. Appears to be worth the money. Currently using it in the backyard and lighting up my garden. The auto on and off feature works great. Is waterproof and haven't tested it in winter yet.

Extra quick release plates available!
I've only had inexpensive tripods in the past; I'm overjoyed I heeded the reviews and spent extra for this one. I love everything about this feature-packed tripod. The level might be my favorite part. If I was a pro maybe I'd want to spend a lot more to get a little more, but for me this is a spectacular value.I see many owners saying they couldn't find extra/replacement quick release plate. But I did. "DaVoice 43mm Tripod Quick Release Plate for UBeesize TR60" in stock now on Amazon and fits as a seller promised me. (It was out of stock last week here but I got one on e b a y.)

FANTASTIC
I love this tripod!! SUPER sturdy and has a ton of adjustability. Another feature I love is the detachable camera attachment point. It makes it really easy to go from hand held to tripod and back for different shots. The only thing is that it covers up my battery port so if I need to switch batteries or SD card, I have to remove the whole connection point. That's really the only complaint I have though and it might be specific to my camera

Saying this is a great tripod for the money wouldn't be fair. It's simply a great tripod. Very impressed with the quality, adjustability, and the precision of it.

Can you use it to measure range?

In principle yes, but ball recognition does not work reliably. But you can aim the ball and the approximate distance to the aiming point will be displayed.

Can you attach a filter to this lens?
A
The front lens of the lens is strongly curved and has a permanently integrated lens hood, threads for screwing are not available on the optics. The cap is placed over the lens hood and held in place by latches. I don't see any options for attaching a filter, and I'm not aware of any factory solutions or products from other manufacturers.

can you use a pinch lens cap over this filter?

The Answer is Yes. You can use a pinch cap over most filters. ALL my lenses have a filter of some sort on them. I use to use a lot of "traditional" lens caps on all my old Nikkor lenses but putting them on and taking them off became a giant PITA, so I got a Pinch Cap as a test. I then converted ALL the lenses to Pinch Caps. Hope this helps.
