It’s a pinch cap
The Sony pinch caps seem to hold better than other brands lens pinch caps .I don’t know about canon or Fujifilm but use Nikon and Sigma . Live the new Sigma Magnetic Caps the best . Nikons pinch caps are just ok and the Sigma pinch caps are hard to get on and the square edge on the outside of them let them get knocked off easy . I’ve lost quite a few Sigma Art lens caps by popping off from knocks . The Sony caps hold tight and are shaped not to have an edge to catch .

Excellent nd filter
A very good filter. It’s very smooth and has a stopping point. I used this on my sigma art lens for a shoot. No vignetting!

Hoya + Sigma 50/1.4 (Art)

Actually the 52mm does not fit the sigma 30mm lens
I ordered the 52mm filter because the 30mm f1.4 sigma lens for sony e-mount cameras has a 52mm thread but after lens arrived, I couldn't fit it on.But after-service support was pretty helpful in telling me this

Another trustable product from Canon
It may fit some of the Sigma lenses, however without the automatic focus. It focused easily and perfectly with Canon lenses

Don't listen to the youtuber reviews
This camera is an absolute dream to work with. I have Sigma Art primes for my portrait work, and got the rf 24-104 f4 lens for hiking/landscape photos. This has been a seamless tool for my travel photography business.

These three things taught me along the way that I
I make collage art and build models and dioramas. These three things taught me along the way that I needed to learn to take better photographs, and so I started early with a Canon Powershot and then moved on a few APSC sensor Canon cameras I love and have in my collection along with a plethora of Canon prime lenses. This is all fine, but I've wanted to have a more portable camera and so, given the fact that I already have all the glass I would ever need (well, you can never have too much glass!), I decided to research the CANON EOS M over on YOUTUBE (big mistake). All the YOUTUBE reviews on this camera make it seem like it was DOA. And that is NOT TRUE. I've owned this camera now for a couple of weeks and I love it. Simply love it. With the lens adaptors I can try out and experiment with all my lenses, and it is so much fun. For the price, this camera is not only a great bargain but it is simply the right choice if you are already a Canon user. I loved the quality of the pictures (I haven't had any problems with the infamous focus--remember I use mine 99% of the time on a tripod shooting art on a table top) and the quality of the videos. I love it so much in fact I bought a second one. I don't particularly care how late Canon got to the mirrorless camera party (to use a common expression being thrown around the different communities), the bottom line is that the camera performs well for my needs and sometimes that is the right approach to take. WHAT DO YOU WANT THE CAMERA TO DO FOR YOU? How are you going to use it. It's a basic question, and with me once I did my research and found found the answer, the Canon EOS M rose to the occasion. My advice to prospective buyers is to do the research on the ground. Go and check out the camera at a store and get a feel for it. (Mine, BTW, came with the firmware up grade of 2.0.2.)

A
Yes, it will fit any Sony e mount body, either full frame (a7..., a9...), or aps-c (like a6500, etc)
Q
Will this work on an a7iii? It wasn't listed.
A

Q
I currently own 3 a-mount lense (from a sony a230) just bought a sony a5000, which is an emount. Will this adapter fit my old lenses to my new camera?
A
No, this adapter is for the older manual focus Minolta Rokkor MC and MD lenses. If you want to autofocus and aperture control you will need the Sony LA-EA4. (the lower cost Sony LA-EA3 will electronically connect A mount lenses but you will have to manually focus.)
