So far so good!
I recently decided to make the switch from a Canon DSLR to a Canon R mirrorless. It was easy to learn since I'm already used to Canons. I bought the EF to RF adapter (with the adjustable ring) so I could use my DSLR lenses with it. My only complaint is that Canon should give you the adapter free (they used to!) when you buy the camera. So far, it's taking good photos, and I decided to buy the kit lens that goes with the camera, so I can use it for all-around use when I'm out and about. I have a very nice Sigma macro lens that I bought at the same time, which needs the EF to RF adapter, but it takes very nice macros on this camera. I'm glad I bought it.

Amazing Ultrawide Lens for Canon RF Mount
Just received the Canon RF 14-35mm lens this afternoon. My first impressions are that the lens is very lightweight and will be great for both photos as well as videography on a gimbal. 14mm RAW images have a lot of distortion and vignetting, which Adobe will later be correcting with a lens profile, but is not available as of this moment. However, the images are sharp, and at 35mm as seen in the provided sample image, the color and images come out beautiful. Will be updating this review once I have had more time to test the lens, but for now I'm super excited to have this glass in my camera bag, especially for videography with my Canon mirrorless bodies!

Super lens
This lens is one of (if not THE) best lens Canon makes, period. It is the premier "sports lens" in the industry, and it has that title for several reasons:1.) BUILD QUALITY: It's built like a tank.2.) WEATHER SEALING: couple with a 1 series body, as soon as it starts raining, everyone else will be scrambling to keep their cameras dry.3.) SUPERIOR OPTICS: color and contrast from this lens are excellent.4.) IS: I bought this lens because of the IS.My former 70-200 lens was the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 HSM. I'm not going to sit here and lie saying the Canon completely blows the Sigma away- it simply doesn't. The Sigma is a fine lens. It is also built like a tank, the HSM is almost (when I say almost, I mean by milliseconds- ie barely noticeable)as fast, and the colors and contrast are superb- almost indistinguishable from an L lens. There are a lot of "almosts" in this paragraph, I know. The Sigma is "almost" perfect, the Canon IS PERFECT. If you are willing to pay the substantial price difference for perfection, more power to you.The main reason I purchased this lens was not because it was white, not because it has a red ring, and not because it's a Canon. I bought it for the IS. I am a sports shooter and I found myself limited in the shutter speed I was able to use with the Sigma. I am a big proponent of the 1/focal length (x 1.6 on my 30D) rule. At 200mm, I would need a shutter speed of at least 1/320 to prevent camera shake. When using flash, I would have to use HSS for the flash to work at that shuttter speed. HSS significantly cuts down on flash output. I would rather use my cameras maximum x-sync speed (1/250) most of the time. This is where IS comes in handy for me. With the Sigma at 200mm/ 1/250 I would get blurry shots, with the Canon using the IS I'm safe. I can even go several stops slower than 1/250 if I desire. The IS is fantastic and is definitely worth the extra $$$.

Best RF lens for the money
I own the Canon R 5 and have the RF 50 1.2, RF 85 1.2, RF 24-105 f4 and the RF 70-200 2.8... oh and this one.I was surprised by how close they are in terms of quality. Weirdly enough, the autofocus is the biggest minus for me with the lens. It's not DSLR bad, but not as good as the lenses mentioned above.I you pixel peep 300% I'm sure the other lenses are sharper. But for normal use and even on a 4k 28" screen, it's hard to see a difference. But witht the portability and size, this is the lens I'll never sell. I've taken some of my favorite shots with the lens. The IS and macro is a big plus too. Some say they dont like the bokeh, but im happy with it, actually more than happy with it, but maybe thats subjective i dont know.

Good Tool for Car Photography
The filter easily fits onto my Canon RF 24-105 f/4 L lens and seems to work great so far! I shoot cars (big mirrors), so this tool is great for reducing unwanted reflections and enhancing the picture quality. I like the tin the lens filter came in and threw the included cloth into my kit. Very happy so far!

Perfect for Canon RF 800mm F11. Allows you to atta
Bought this to use on my Sigma 150-600 where it has performed well. I bought a Canon RF 800mm F11 recently and all my other 95mm UV filters have frames that are too big for the lens hood to be used and I really want to have a UV filter on this lens to protect the front element. I noticed how slim the frame is on this filter so tried it on the Canon 800 and it allows me to attach and remove the lens hood with the filter in place. Perfect. Optical quality is great. Can't see any performance issues compared with my Hoya, Kenro or Marumi filters. This seems every bit as good. It's the only UV filter I've found that has a frame small enough to be able to use the lens hood when the filter is fitted so for anyone with the Canon RF 800 this is a no brainer.

Shout out to canon for making afordable quality.

Q
Can I still use my stock lens hood?
A
We installed it on our Canon RF 24-105 lens and it was possible to use the lens hood on this lens because the lens hood attaches to the lens via the bayonette mount which is on the outside of the lens diameter and the magnetic filter adapter screws into the thread on the inside of the lens.
Q
I have a canon ae1 camera with alot of lenses will i be able to use those lenses on my canon eos t7 camera?
A
The adapter for a EOS body to a Canon FD manual is the adapter needed. The Canon AE1 uses the FD/FL lens mount. The one I purchased works without a hitch. Mine is a K&F Concept Pro lens mount for Canon FD, FL lenses. From a F1 to a 5D Mark 4 with no issue.
Q
Will this fit on my canon 60d? Thanks
A
FD-EOS fit for Canon FD mount lens and canon EF mount camera body. canon 60d is EF mount, so the adapter ring can work with your camera, but you need to check your lens mount. could you pls let us know your lens specific model? service(AT)kentfaith(DO NOT)com, Please note: It is not same between Canon FD mount and EF mount, this adapter ring is only for Canon FD mount lens, please contact us if you want to purchase for Canon EF mount lens.
Q
So is meant to be put on a G7 to work with a Canon lens?
A
Just consider that, precisely because there are no electronics in between, the autofocus won't work. You will have to go manually
Q
Could this work with a g7? Just trying to clarify.
A
If you are referring to the Panasonic DMC-G7, then yes, it will adapt any Canon FD mount lens to any micro 4/3 mount camera. Including yours.
