Great Beginner Telescope
Purchased as a Christmas gift and was set-up within 10 minutes and ready for use. We used the 25mm lens for most of the viewing and look forward to exploring more with the telescope. We live in a very dark rural area and this was perfect to see lots of stars and the moon!

Nice Monopod with Mediocre head
This is a great monopod...especially for a micro four thirds (MFT) setup. Light, quick to set up, and sturdy, it has almost everything I was looking for. I wasn't crazy about the head though...and upgraded it to a MeFoto type head...big improvement for a nice monopod.

Nice
The view on the telescope is clear. Realize that the finder scope will show images upside down and that is how it should be for this kind of finder scope. It is light weight and portable and has a cloth carrying case. My box was smashed during shipping but everything was fine and protected, except the paper maps inside were a little ripped. Mine has a 25mm lens and 10mm lens. The 25mm is nice for looking at the moon.

Perfect! Bought this for the 25mm f1.7 lumix lens, works flawlessly. Really impressed with GOBE ND filters

Good entry level telescope
The 25mm eyepiece came with particles of debris between the lens. I contacted Celestron support. They sent me a new 25mm eyepiece which appears to be much better build quality.

Not a waste of your money
If you are like me and are not rich, every purchase is important. Truthfully, for me this was a good buy, especially being new to viewing the sky with a telescope. I learned a lot from what came with the telescope. The focal length of the scope itself is 500mm, but it comes with a 3X Barlow lens, which increases the focal length to 1500mm. This means that you have a magnification maximum of about 150X.Included with the telescope is a 25mm eyepiece and 10mm eyepiece, so your magnification when you look through the telescope is 60X when you use the 25mm (1500/25), and 150X when you use the 10mm (1500/10).The 25mm eyepiece is perfect for viewing the moon. You can see the craters with beautiful clarity. I used the 10mm with my granddaughter, a few nights ago, to view Jupiter. We could see it well and also its main four moons! She said it was "epic".You will have to be patient though. The view finder was not exactly centered with the telescope. This is a little frustrating because it is not easy finding things in the sky. There is some adjusting that you can do on the finder though.Getting the phone adapter adjusted for your cellphone to "see" through the telescope is also a chore. But, take the time during the day first, looking at something like a leaf clump in the top of a tree to learn how to focus the telescope using both eyepieces, and start your adjustments on the finder and the cellphone adapter. The more you use it the better it gets.It is a little difficult to get the telescope stable also. The initial weight of the phone has a tendency to move the scope.Again, if your budget is like mine, working a little extra with your telescope is probably better than spending more than you can afford to get more ease of use.

The diameter of the tube is 25mm.
Q

A
Yes. A very small one, but it's there!
Q
hi. will this work with canon r6? thanks
A
Hi, this is filter adapter rings, support use larger or small size filter on your lens , not related with camera brand.
Q
Will this fit a 25mm Panasonic lens?
A
You would need to check the filter size of you 25mm lens, and then order accordingly.
Q
I tried to remove the lens adaptor and it is stuck to my lens. Can anyone help me with this?
A
The adapter clicks on the lens. It has a small dark gray colored lever (not the white plastic tab to change aperture), level to the outer edge of the bottom ring accessible when removed from the camera, grab the whole adapter with your left hand and push the lever in with your thumb, and while pushing, rotate the lens with your right hand to remove it. You need to push in that lever to unlock the lens.
