Solar Eclipse Film Filter

I really liked this filter. I got this filter with the intention of the Solar eclipse that just occured. I am very happy that I got it and will be using again.

Not what I needed... my mistake

I was specifically looking for binoculars for the eclipse and somehow got routed to these without realizing that they are NOT solar safe binoculars. My bad for not reading the description well enough. They seem to be pretty decent binoculars, though, even if I have no use for them. Maybe I'll take up bird watching or something...

Purchased 3 of these filters to take pictures of the Solar Eclipse. Glad that I purchased 3 (so that I didn't have to share with my daughters). They worked as promised. We were so happy with the outcome of our pictures of the sun (eclipse). We would definitely buy again.

Great travel telescope!

Got this along with a solar filter for viewing the solar eclipse. Worked fabulously!!!! The Solar Finder needed a different screw to connect to the telescope, but it was so much fun to watch and live stream the eclipse!

Great filter but I was looking to use it for last years eclipse and read everything that was on the site about using for the eclipse. Fortunately an astronomer friend kept me from burning out my equipment but showed me other uses for this filter.

Why is there an imprint on the screen or the screen is not clear?

As there is a protective film on the screen, the stamp is on the protective layer. Please do not worry, it is original and never used. All in all, if you are unhappy with the screen, please tear off the protective film . Tear off the green tab in the corner of the screen.

What do you mean by waterproof? The filter has two pieces that rotate relative to each other. Will that seam between the two pieces leak water if I use this filter underwater? How deep can it be used before it leaks? Will salt water damage it?

hello,waterproof refers to the surface of the filter has a waterproof film, if water drops on the filter, the water will directly slide off without leaving water marks on the filter, then it is easy to clean.we do not recommend that you use in the water, the water will enter the CPL inside the seam.

Is the camera blurry?

Please check if the protective film of the PIR Fresnel lens has been removed.

How much zoom does this camera have and is it only digital zoom?

this solar camera have 4X digital zoom.

Can I use it to take pictures of the Sun or Solar eclipse?

hello ,you can use ie take picture of the sun, but not for the solar eclipse
