I really liked this filter. I got this filter with the intention of the Solar eclipse that just occured. I am very happy that I got it and will be using again.

Not what I needed... my mistake

I was specifically looking for binoculars for the eclipse and somehow got routed to these without realizing that they are NOT solar safe binoculars. My bad for not reading the description well enough. They seem to be pretty decent binoculars, though, even if I have no use for them. Maybe I'll take up bird watching or something...

Purchased 3 of these filters to take pictures of the Solar Eclipse. Glad that I purchased 3 (so that I didn't have to share with my daughters). They worked as promised. We were so happy with the outcome of our pictures of the sun (eclipse). We would definitely buy again.

Great travel telescope!

Got this along with a solar filter for viewing the solar eclipse. Worked fabulously!!!! I also got Orion 7033 Precision Slow-Motion Adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000XMV86/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, Eyeskey Universal Phone Spotting Scope Adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J9F19I8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) & Televue Sol-Searcher Solar Finder (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000B785SG/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_2_w). The Solar Finder needed a different screw to connect to the telescope, but it was so much fun to watch and live stream the eclipse!

For the price, these are amazing.

I bought these as an impulse buy to use for the lunar eclipse, so I used the PrimeNow service. First of all, that was amazing because I had the binoculars in an hour and a half after choosing the "free delivery" option.The binoculars themselves were great, particularly for the price. Images were crystal clear, and they are light enough even our 5 yr old could hold them up and see the moon. I'll probably get a tripod to make viewing easier and less shaky, but even just holding them we were able to see lot's of detail from the eclipse.Summary - 3 happy kids and 2 happy adults watching the eclipse, very cool.

It can't not be fixed well with the lens without the adapter ring. you should buy another adapter ring of 95mm size if you want to make this square filter fixed on the lens.
