Great for selfies/vlogging - not for stills
[TLDR/Preface]This thing is awesome! If you ever need a more sturdy selfie stick than the typical phone ones or if you need it for a point & shoot, this is really great.[Full Review]Now, it does say it supports DSLR cameras. I tried with my Canon 6D MK II and a 50mm f/1.8 lens, with the tripod on its 3 legs and fully extended. You can definitely use this for stills, but I wouldn't recommend it. It was very wobbly, but its also not impossible to use it as a "real" tripod if you have enough light and a fast shutter speed. (Note that the 6D MK II is considered a "smaller" DSLR camera)Overall, I would only recommend to use this for phones & small point and shoot cameras (with my G7X II it works great). Quality overall felt nice, but still on the cheaper side. The ball head was definitely the most quality/well built part of this whole thing

Excellent results from a reasonably small flash
Well designed and solid construction as well as easy to use with my Sony a7 series cameras. I just shot over 1000 photos at a wedding and reception with excellent results.

Canon EF 2.0 Mk III Telephoto Extender
To say I was apprehensive of purchasing this tele-converter would be an understatement. After owning the Canon EF 2.0X mk II and being completely disappointed and underwhelmed with it, it took me years to decide to try another 2x extender. After I did purchase it a few weeks back, it even sat in my bag a week or 2 before I decided to pull it out and try using it.With a tool like this, you want to use it for the right reasons and on the right kind of lenses. With that said, I'm using this on the Canon 300mm 2.8mm professional lens. Because the Canon 300mm has a smallish range, I've always shot with the Canon EF 1.4 MkII telephoto extender tacked on the back of it. The 300 is such a sharp lens, I lose very little sharpness using the 1.4 tele. Being a bird/wildlife photographer, I am always looking for more and more MM, so I decided to go ahead and try it.So far it's been everything I was hoping for. Much sharper than the 2.0 Mk II with the addition of new coating on the glass, this rugged and now very sharp tele didn't disappoint. Without doing any scientific study I would say this is at least 50% sharper, and at least that much better with contrast than its older counterpart. As always Canon L pro equipment is built like a tank, with dust proof and water resistant construction, it keeps up with the Pro L lens standard. The Mk III appears a bit smaller than the Mk II and the "white" coating has changed with the Mk III line of lenses, so the color is a bit different on the outside.Though I still have tons of shooting to do with it, so far I love it, and though it is high priced, appears to be well with it.As with any additional glass added to your lens, you really need to learn how to shoot with this tele. Forget hand holding it, use a tripod. Also because this is a 2X extender, you're losing a LOT of light. With my Canon 300mm 2.8, with the 2.0 mk III I'm now shooting at aperture of f/5.6. You're also losing a LOT of autofocus speeds. Canon is saying as much as 75%, but it didn't feel that high. So you need to use this lens in good to great lighting, on a tripod using already good Canon glass.Ricky

Very secure
Used this to secure my Sony Alpha a7 III to my backpack while hiking Yosemite. Very secure and easy to clip on and off. It was a bit hard to add it to my Gregory backpack strap as it was a bit thick but was able to do so nonetheless.

Great replacement for the classic "nifty 50"!
A fixed 50mm lens is a very useful lens. On a full-frame body (I'm using the full-frame Canon 6D) 50mm reproduces the view the human eye naturally has; on a 1.6 crop body such as the 7D it becomes 80mm, making it an ideal portrait lens.At a fast 1.8. the Canon "nifty fifty" (Mk II) always had a place in my camera bag. Sadly I dropped mine last week, and an internal plastic lug snapped. Time for a replacement.I settled on the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM as the obvious choice. Same aperture, but some changes: it is a little shorter, has a 49mm filter ring rather than 52mm, and a metal rather than plastic mount, which should mean it is more robust. Oh, and the "Stepper Motor Technology" focusing is very quiet.I've been taking sample pictures, some of which are posted here. The first two macro shots are heavily cropped: the lens focuses down to 0.35 metres as opposed to the Mk II's 0.45 metres: an appreciable difference. the others are uncropped. The thistle and foxglove pictures taken at f1.8 show the bokeh the lens can produce. The two buildings photos are taken at f8/f9.I am very happy with the lens: it is a great replacement for the Mk II 1.8. And. like its predecessor, stunning value for money. In terms of "bang for buck", I don't think you can do better.

Q
Is it compatible with sony a7iii??
A
Yes, it will fit any Sony e mount body, either full frame (a7..., a9...), or aps-c (like a6500, etc)
Q
Does this stop at infinity or does it focus past infinity? I need a simple infinity only adapter.
A
This has no focusing capability. That said it will allow your lens to infinity focus the same way as it did on its original mount. It won’t change that. The only issue I can imagine is the quality control issue if any from adapter to adapter, manufacturer to manufacturer. Basically if your lens goes past infinity then it won’t change anything with it mounted on this adapter or any other
Q
Does this system work with an eos 5d mk iv?
A
It works with my 1Dx and 6D so I can't see why it wouldn't work with a 5 series body...
Q
Does this convert the focal length in any way? Does it allow infinity focusing?
A
A RF lens like a Leica-M lens will NOT focus to infinity on a SLR body like the Nikon. The Leica lens will only focus to a few inches, like a macro lens.
Q
Is it compatible with a7 ii or a7r ii? another brand differentiates the original and second models of a7x cameras?
A
It works well on both.
