This adapter is such a good idea. Makes 17mm ball mounts so much more useful by converting them to the standard 1/4 thread. Works great and is sturdy.

Really good and solid product. The double ball adapter w 360 adjustment and smart fixation is just phenomenal. The suction is strong and w approx 1kg of weight stayed on for more than 2 hours on car door. I can absolutely recommend it.

I got these clamps to attach to my dual monitor stand, which has a pretty thick post. These clamps -just- fit on it, and they hold on tight.I use these mounts with attachments to hold a large ring light at the top of the post, and another to hold a phone clamp, which I use as a dashboard and sometimes as a webcam (when connected to my PC). Compared to having dedicated stands for my light and phone, these take up less space and are probably cheaper too.The double ball adapter is fine - a single knob locks both ends, but would have been more convenient if you could lock each end individually. My one gripe is that the ball nut connected to the clamp unscrew a little too easily when you're adjusting the ball adapter.The clamps and components are weighty and solid. I expect them to last a very long time.Overall, these clamps are good value for the price, and super versatile.

Compatible with UURig Bracket for Sony ZV1.This thing is a BEAST. Idk what the negative, very detailed review, is talking about. If you know how how a ball in joint socket operates, then this double ball and socket will work in your favor.The clamp is extremely sturdy. Absolutely ZERO issues with damaging the surface it’s been clamped on. The clamp performance has been stellar on wood, plastic and metal. I don’t have a GoPro but the included adapter for it is a nice touch.

Part 1 - Minolta MD to Sony NEX adapterTechnically, it slightly overshoots infinity but the issue is easily corrected by dialing back the focus ring just a tad --- Not exact but clearly better than not-at-all.Although very light due to extensive aluminum usage, the build quality and fit-and-finish of the adapter is superb. Connections on the lens and camera mount sides are tight and precise --- absolutely, zero slop. The top of the lens release button is flattened making the lens removal process very easy and comfortable.Other notes:- There are no electrical connections so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens itself- When mounting the lens, turn the adapter clockwise till you hear a "click"- Tested with a Minolta 85mm f/1.7 Rokkor-X MD lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera-----------------------Part 2 - Nikon Ai to Sony NEX adapterEdit: Based on my positive experience with the Minolta MD adapter, I also purchased the Nikon Ai adapter later.As with the Minolta MD adapter, the Nikon Ai version focuses beyond infinity a tiny bit. Fortunately, the same solution applies - dial back the focus ring and the horizon will become crystal clear. The build quality is impeccable and the finish is smooth and clean of burrs or machine marks. Connections on both sides are taut and precise with zero play.Additional notes for Nikon Ai adapter:- No electrical connections present so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens.- Unlike the Minolta MD adapter, mounting the lens for Nikon adapter requires a counter-clockwise turn until you hear the "click" of the locking mechanism- Tested with a Nikon Micro Nikkor 55m f/2.8 Ai-S MF lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera

Extremely light and simple to set up and works great with my Sony RX100II and Canon M3 with 18-150mm lens. But with a plastic ball head, it will not support my Sony A6000 with 18-200mm lens; and putting my Canon T6 would be totally insane. It is designed for light compact cameras and is a wonderful tripod to own if used for its intended purpose. It is regretful that there is no way to replace the ball head . . . the ball head cannot be removed.
