TURN IT DOWN!
My wife bought me this 400-watt system for Christmas and now she really regrets it because it's so wonderfully loud that sometimes I fall into temptation and crank up the volume. The subwoofer makes the floor shake and rattles the windows at only 3/4 of the way up! I love this system to watch movies and am rediscovering my music collection all over again.Here's what I like:--Sound quality--Power (loudness)--Elegant design and attractive looks--Price (unbeatable for the THX certification)--Two input ports with detachable cablesHere's what I don't like:--No decoding; they seem to have discontinued the model with an optical input, which would have been perfect for my stand-alone Blu-ray player that sits on my desk with my computer.HERE'S THE SOLUTION TO THE DECODING PROBLEM:Search Amazon for the "Monoprice digital to stereo converter". It's just over twenty bucks and requires a power input (it includes the necessary power cable for your wall), but it will take either digital coax or digital optical cable (neither is included) and convert it to stereo RCA. Then you need a separate (also not included) RCA-to-stereo-minijack cable that will plug-in to this Logitech speaker unit. Now I have back the missing optical decoding solution and this speaker system serves both my computer and my Blu-ray player. Neat!

The set up was not as easy as I thought it would b
I needed to but an HDMI cord and HDMI splitter because I had a cable box and a blu ray player alreadyattached the TV. I also wanted to use the TV remote to control the system. It was a little more complicated than I thought. The sound is great.i

Does not work in some Sony USB enabled Blu Ray/DVD Players... but... It does work very well in some others, including my PC & Flatscreen!

Works well to set up your tv for karaoke.
I liked being able to use my tv for karaoke, almost a simple set-up except for the fact that I can’t connect my blu ray surround sound player to tv and use both at the same time for the audio, I had to disconnect it from the device to get audio from my blu ray player and plug it in when I need to use just the blu ray player so, it’s great other than that the hdmi input on the device doesn’t work automatically.

It’s great for older monitors or projectors

yes, i had no problems with infinity focus with this adapter. the only FD mount lens i use anymore with my sony is a vivitar 20mm, and i pretty much only shoot infinity focus with it.

I currently own 3 a-mount lense (from a sony a230) just bought a sony a5000, which is an emount. Will this adapter fit my old lenses to my new camera?

No, this adapter is for the older manual focus Minolta Rokkor MC and MD lenses. If you want to autofocus and aperture control you will need the Sony LA-EA4. (the lower cost Sony LA-EA3 will electronically connect A mount lenses but you will have to manually focus.)
