Well made; fun to use
I have only used the macro lens so far, but have had a lot of fun photographing flowers. The lenses seem to be very high quality and are easy to put on and off my iPhone. I highly recommend this product.

I wish I had of seen this before
I love macro photography and recently brought a regular speedlight (albeit a compact one) so that I could take it around with me; a bit of a pain, if I'm honest, with having the diffuser on it and trying to get the best light. Then I noticed this one a month after, and it was even cheaper, so I thought I would try it.I actually have 2 macro lenses over the years, a Nikon F mount and a Nikon Z mount, and there is an important thing you need to do with the Z mount lens; do not mount the flash to the lens part, which moves in and out, attach it with a larger adapter to the outer case. This is because it will put undue pressure on the lens and can result in lens motor failure. I did a lot of research on that, so I thought you should know.Loved the fact that it came with so many adapters, as I was a bit worried I was going to have to find some to fit my lenses. The light is beautifully even that comes out of it and really makes your picture pop, and the cable to the main unit is soft and flexible and doesn't pull against front. Very simple controls on the back to adjust the power, and so far, I've only needed the lowest setting for macro work, although I'm sure the higher setting will come in useful for portraits (not tried that yet).

Amazing lens for a great price!
I had zero experience using cell phone lenses and frankly had no idea they even existed until my husband got it for me for Christmas. I've had some experience in photography and I've used nice macro lenses before. The attached photo is just a quick example from my first attempt at playing with the macro lens. When I saw you could zoom in *even more* on the phone screen, and that it was so good you can see the inclusions in my antique sapphire, I was amazed! If I had a perfectly motion-free environment (and younger eyes) it would have been even better. I used a tripod and a trigger but we have a lot of traffic going by which shakes the house. The quality of the lenses is really nice, very solid and a good heft just like any other quality optics. Be sure to watch the videos, they teach you the best uses of the wide-angle lens; right off the bat (say if you try taking a photo of your desk or something) it doesn't seem like it does much, but it's more meant for outdoor large scale scenes or group photos. I can't wait to try it on the beach in Hawai'i when we go in February! Anyway I love the lenses and they also come with a travel case, lanyard, cleaning cloth, lens covers, and a great rechargeable tiny clip-on light you can use for creative lighting in macro shots. Highly recommend!

Lives up to its promises
I bought a Z mount platform specifically for the S line lenses, and yet again, this doesn't disappoint. I bought this because I found I've been trying to do more "macro" style photography with my regular zoom lenses, which doesn't really work very well. As such, this is my first macro lens. Well, this delivers. My one and only complaint isn't really about the lens itself, it's more about Nikon's website/documentation about the lens. Yes, it technically has a max aperture of f2.8, but that's only achievable when focusing further than about 1.7 meters away. If you get closer than that (which you need to for macro photography), it starts incrementally stopping down. At closest focus, it's maximum aperture is f4.5. After I thought about it for a bit, I realized that's just how it has to be due to how the aperture ratio works, so it makes sense and I'm not upset by it. F2.8 at closest focus would be absolutely ginormous and it would make the lens huge. I just wish the documentation said something about that. Maybe it does and I missed it, but in case it doesn't or in case you missed it too, now you know. (I also have to assume most other macro lenses do something similar, in the same way a lot of zoom lenses have variable max apertures, but I don't have the experience with macro lenses to know.)

Great kit. The filters are very good
Great kit. The filters are very good. I use all four macro lenses on top of each other to get a really cool image. The lens hoods are also very good - especially the rubber one. Thanks Goja!

It fits over my phone case!
I have tried many kinds of lenses for my iPhone because although I have a DSLR sometimes it’s too cumbersome and I like something easier to carry around. This clip WILL for over your existing case, which none of the others do. This is a very customer oriented company, and they will email you videos of how to use and get the most out of the kit. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it only has wide angle and macro, while similar products offer additional lenses such as fisheye, kaleidoscope, etc. I was told they are developing a fisheye but it will be some time. I can’t wait! The pictures attached were taken with the macro lens. I would challenge anyone who didn’t know to try and tell me if I took these photos with my iPhone or my DSLR!

Q
I currently own 3 a-mount lense (from a sony a230) just bought a sony a5000, which is an emount. Will this adapter fit my old lenses to my new camera?
A
No, this adapter is for the older manual focus Minolta Rokkor MC and MD lenses. If you want to autofocus and aperture control you will need the Sony LA-EA4. (the lower cost Sony LA-EA3 will electronically connect A mount lenses but you will have to manually focus.)
