Love the range extender. I only purchased to increase rang for my outdoor camera that needed a stronger signal. The camera was 40+ feet from my Pro station. With this, I am only out 15 feet from the Ring Chime Pro. Works perfect. Very strong signal to my camera.

I had this range extender for awhile now. Work great, easy install, and the range is great.

The extender does what was designed to do. It extends the range and increases download speed. It also performs in a peculiar way. I have high speed internet (over 450mbps) and in the remote area where I have problems I can only get about 20mbps without extender. After the installation, I have now up between 118mbs and 125mbps. I am very happy now. The strange thing is that if I connect with the extender through a CAT6 cable with the Ethernet port on the side I can only get 85mbps max. How is this possible? I have higher speed on wifi than wired and I have 1Gb card on my laptop. Strange. But again, my wifi signal is much improved.

Liked easy setup. Used as range extender for tv and hardwire for Roku.

This extender has great range and works very well. Took a few minutes to get it configured but that was likely operator error!

 For the price these cameras are great. They can be mounted anywhere is why we bought them. One things I see that everyone is complaining about is the freezing. Blink reps are not IT specialist engineers. They do not discuss the range of the blink routers. I do a lot of device testing with internet attached items. These cameras must be at least 65 feet from the Blink routers. Anything over 65 feet you loose the last signal strength bar. That will cause freezing. Just like everyone else I want to skip running wires. I put the Blink router outside along with a range extender outside the home. To do this I put them in a simple cardboard box. Then painted the boxes for blend in. Then mounted them in the top of the patio. The blink cameras can reach the Wi-Fi much better with the range extender. This allows me to see if there is an invader in my chicken coupe. look at the video I got at 80 feet with a range extender. Open up your blink app and look at your range indicators. If they aren't full you are too far away. Do not link your blink cameras with your amazon account unless you want to pay a monthly fee. Don't ever link your cameras to your amazon account and the will work fine. You just wont be able to record a live feed. Everything else will be as per explained. When you link you allow servers to access your cameras and do as they please. Linking is always bad, thats why they offer it.Doesn't matter weather it is Facebook twitter, Instagram or google. You allow un-needed servers to access your personal cameras and lifestyles. The out door kit for Blink cameras is a good deal. Just watch your range.

The range extender works as advertised. It claimed easy setup. Setup was a challenge, but I figured it out in the end. The reason for the 4 stars.
