Review update I changed my review to a 5 due to the sellers fast response. Addlon Lights took care of my issue. They were easy to work with. These lights are very heavy duty and very good quality, They just didn’t work for me.

does the adapter work with the sony alpha7III?

I use it on the Sony Alpha 6000 with a manual FD 50mm. AF and aperture transmission are not an issue here. Actually, the adapter only keeps the lens at the right distance in front of the sensor. This works great and I think it will be the same with the Alpha 7III.

Which size lens would fit the lens kit that comes with the sony a7iii (fe 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 oss lens)?
A
55mm, but if I was you I would get a bigger filter and use step down rings to fit the size you need. Like the Tamron lenses are 67mm other nice Sony are 67mm & 82mm so I would get 82mm and use step down rings. That’s just me

It’s a little tight on my a7III. I bought the Fotodiox brand for my Nikon glass and prefer the fit a bit more. Still works however, just ended up buying a Fotodiox for my Minoltas as well.
