Great for Sony wireless speakers
These are great speaker stands that are light weight but sturdy for the Sony wireless speakers that are coupled to our TV sound bar.

We love these stands
We love these stands! We bought them for our Sony SRSZR7 rear speakers which weigh 5 lb each and they worked great! Our speakers were wide so we had to mount them lengthwise, but they sound the same and are very stable! The stands have great weighting. The ends of our speaker cords were too fat to fit down the inside of the bar so we used another cable management strategy so our pets couldn't chew the cable.

Great stands worked great for my rear surround son
Great stands worked great for my rear surround sony speakers. Couldn't run speaker wire thru the stand because of size of speaker connection. Nothing a zip tie couldn't remedy.

Great alternative
I used a pair of Sony rear speakers. Mounts perfectly to the stand. Gave me more than one option for mounting. The one thing I think they can improve on would be the tightening ring for adjusting the height. I do recommend this product. Looks great and is an awesome alternative then wall mounting.

Yes, it will fit any Sony e mount body, either full frame (a7..., a9...), or aps-c (like a6500, etc)

Is there a open skeleton frame to use the external microphone?

The V50x comes with a skeleton case with a slotted rear door replacement, but there is no opening to allow plugging in an external mic. As a note, the sound recording, even while in the completely waterproof case, is better than I had expected. If you're not worried about moisture, there is a threaded tripod mount on the bottom of the camera and an adapter that will allow you mount the camera without using the case.

Does this adapter allow for canon fd lenses to focus to infinity on sony e-mount mirrorless cameras?

yes, i had no problems with infinity focus with this adapter. the only FD mount lens i use anymore with my sony is a vivitar 20mm, and i pretty much only shoot infinity focus with it.

I currently own 3 a-mount lense (from a sony a230) just bought a sony a5000, which is an emount. Will this adapter fit my old lenses to my new camera?
A
No, this adapter is for the older manual focus Minolta Rokkor MC and MD lenses. If you want to autofocus and aperture control you will need the Sony LA-EA4. (the lower cost Sony LA-EA3 will electronically connect A mount lenses but you will have to manually focus.)
