I love macro photography and recently brought a regular speedlight (albeit a compact one) so that I could take it around with me; a bit of a pain, if I'm honest, with having the diffuser on it and trying to get the best light. Then I noticed this one a month after, and it was even cheaper, so I thought I would try it.I actually have 2 macro lenses over the years, a Nikon F mount and a Nikon Z mount, and there is an important thing you need to do with the Z mount lens; do not mount the flash to the lens part, which moves in and out, attach it with a larger adapter to the outer case. This is because it will put undue pressure on the lens and can result in lens motor failure. I did a lot of research on that, so I thought you should know.Loved the fact that it came with so many adapters, as I was a bit worried I was going to have to find some to fit my lenses.The light is beautifully even that comes out of it and really makes your picture pop, and the cable to the main unit is soft and flexible and doesn't pull against front. Very simple controls on the back to adjust the power, and so far, I've only needed the lowest setting for macro work, although I'm sure the higher setting will come in useful for portraits (not tried that yet).

Tiffen, always being my number 1 choice. At larger f-stops and wide angle (18mm or so) I get some vignetting - although it is stacked on top of a Tiffen UV filter. Wishing I would have purchased the 'lower profile' filter.

This worked well for my Sony 10-18mm. It saved my lens, during vacation, from bumps, sand, and kid foreheads. Just buy one. You won’t regret it.

Works on my Fast lens 1.4 / 2.8But not on 3.2 and 4/5/6/

This gimbal works great with my Sony ZV-E10 with the standard 16-50mm lens AND the 10-18mm lens. The 10-18mm does add extra weight but the gimbal handles it great. This is perfect for mirrorless cameras.

Doesn't turn as dark as my old 1970's Spiratone Polarizer but it's ok. Not as high of a contrast between shades. I have had to replace all of my old inexpensive filters because of my new lens size, and because of it being a digital camera. I have noticed that the old inexpensive filter quality is equivalent to the expensive filter quality of today. The cheap filters of today wouldn't have been sold back then. Manufacturers would have never settled for "just ok". I guess we're just living in the age of "marginal" when it comes to quality. OMG....I sound like my Dad!!!!

I use this for all my daytime long exposure shots and I don't have a "problem" with vignetting until I get down to 18mm and even then it is not very noticeable. There isn't any color shift or distortion that I can pick up on. Overall it's a fantastic deal for the money and I highly recommend this product.

The cable is certainly a USB c cable with USB 3.2 speeds. I wish they had a 25 foot cable instead of 16. Honestly I'd just get the AirLink whenever it becomes available. Wireless VR is definitely the way to go. Being tethered to my PC is always going to be kind of a sour note.
