Even installing the c-wire adapter inside the furnace's control panel to enable the thermostat to function properly is simple to do with easy to follow instructions for both the thermostat and the adapter. The guided step-by-step setup built into the Alexa app is equally easy to follow. I love the price point of this device, and ultimately that's what sold me on finally upgrading my system to a smart one. Energy use tracking, control, and monitoring work just like every other Alexa device through the Alexa app. Being able to monitor and track temperature and energy usage in the app is top of the line functionality, and it's just the start of what's possible, with a price that effortlessly beats the top name competitors.

Good glass. I serious step up from the previous model in the build quality.I had the previous version and the old plastic mount just could not keep up. I go out everyday, I am climbing and crawling sometimes toget the shot I am looking for and the old model just could not cut it. The new improvements make this a solid lens. the only downsideis that there is no seal around the ring. I live coastal and have a lot of humidity and sea air. It is not a big deal for the price of the lensand the photos it puts out are great. It just plays into what lens I chose as my primary walker.

Just received & tested ASAP: photos taken with and without CPL filter. For my camera Canon Powershot SX40HS I strongly recommend the 52-58 step-up adapter the bayonet style not the threaded one (I purchased and tested both): It's easy and faster to install/remove. Once fixed the CPL on the 52-58 step-up adapter I'll leave them together always. This will prevent thread cuts and misalignmentsCPL usage - It makes the difference even I was expecting a little bit more cutting of the reflexions but for the money spent it's very good. Tested at 90 degres (as all indicate) vs sunlight direction and the stones are visible in the pond due to reflexions cut at water surface. As you increase the angle the more effective it is: it's doing the job! At the beginning you need a little experience till you find the max open and max closed positions (CPL ring rotation) then you play with the ring for effects. I'm looking forward to enjoy this CPL filter furthermore for better pictures.

Great lens to step-up from kit lenses - inexpensive and gives great results!

To begin with, the instructions were very clear. They walk you through the process step-by-step with full color photos and easy to understand text directions. My husband and I worked together and had it up and running in about 15 minutes. We are FAR from experts! But we are both a bit geeky with a fascination for space, so this telescope was a no-brainer.The telescope has an adjustable tripod with storage tray in the center of the three legs. It's very easy to take this out to the roof of our apartment building for some late night star gazing. The image quality is comparable to much nicer telescopes I've used at various university events. You will get a new appreciation for the moon! I will say there is a bit of a learning curve with figuring out how to aim and bring the view into focus. Also, I am not sure if we did something wrong in putting the telescope together, but we aren't able to tighten the lens so that it stays in place. The end result is you are trying to maintain a steady position and angle while bending over to see through the eyepiece at the same time. Based on other reviews, this is a "me" issue and not a telescope issue, so I didn't dock them for that. There are many different attachments for cameras, cell phone, eyepieces, and various lens strengths that we haven't tried yet. It seems like the sky is the limit (pun intended!).Overall we have been very impressed with this telescope. This would be a great purchase for beginners, children interested in astronomy, or simply to just have a fun hobby to do with your family.
