A serious digital camera at a bargain price.
I read this comprehensive review before purchase and you should too:http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/canon-eos-m/canon-eos-mA.HTMI'm an amatuer photog for more than 40 years. Until recently, my only concession to digital photography was the purchase of inexpensive Canon point-n-shoots. As film photography has become a greater burden and digital has caught up in terms of quality while surpassing in convenience and affordability, my discovery of this little gem at a bargain price was perfect timing. Adding a $15 adapter, I can use may ancient but excellent FD mount Canon lenses - think F1 and AE-1 cameras. Auto-focus speed doesn't matter to me because I still prefer to manually set almost everything. That said, the AF performance of the EOS M seems equivalent to that of my son's Nikon 1.My purchases for my entry into serious digital photography to date include: the EOS M with Speedlite 90EX and EOS M 18-55mm IS lense: an SD card (PNY 64 GB High Speed SDXC Class 10): a spare battery (Opteka LP-E12 LPE12 2000mAh Battery Pack): a lense adapter (Fotasy Canon FD Lens to EOS M Lens); and a neck strap (OP/TECH USA System Connector Super Pro A).

Perfect match for the EOS M
So you finally decided on getting the EOS M (it's flaws considered). I assume you are a canon user, have a couple of good (canon EF/EF-S mount) lens lying around and would like to be able to use those on you EOS M. Just like me, you love your canon dslr but sometimes wish you can travel light but still be able to enjoy the canon ecosystem that you have grown to love. If you are what I assume you are, get this lens adapter.I took a gamble and bought a "like-new" used from a seller at Amazon and was very happy with a purchase. For anything more than $150 I probably would think twice. But I am not taking a start out because of the price. This adapter handles every canon mount lens I threw at it. The build quality is nice. The design (the way it attaches to the eos m; the included, detachable tripod mount) is well thought of... just perfect.

Must Have
Canon EOS M Mount adapter is a must have for all Canon EOS M users if they have other Canon EF and EF-S lenses. The construction is solid and heavy. I used several Canon EF-S and EF lenses and they work fine with the adapter. Highly recommended.

Works perfectly, does it's job.
This does what it's supposed to - connects the front of a Canon EOS to the rear of a T-adapter. High quality materials and slides right on and off.

The 6SE BEST Portable CELESTRON
Celestron 6SE is the sweet spot for portable telescopes. The 8se is a bit too large to fit into a Pelican 1650 Roller case which is maximum size for checked baggage. Keep the foam packing that the telescope is packed into for use in the Case and skip purchasing one with foam saving 75 dollars. This system comes with a 24mm lens and tripod which fully automates the system leaving more time for viewing and less time searching. Before you get lost in the lens selection for telescopes and spend a lot of money just purchase two things. The SVBONY SV171 - 1.25 inch 8mm to 24mm Zoom and an SVBONY SV137 Barlow Lens 1.25 Inch 2x Metal Body and lastly an SVBONY 1.25 inches Variable Polarizing Filter to prevent being snow blinded by the moon and your all set. As for power I recommend the TalentCell Rechargeable 72W -100Wh 12V/8300mAh lithium battery over the 8AA batteries it uses. It is more useful and costs less than purchasing 8 lithium AA batteries. It is also the maximum watt hour lithium you can carry on or check. Just plug it into the power port and it will run for 5 hours or more depending on movement rate. Velcro it to the front of the tripod support arm vertically so that it will not come into contact with anything as the scope slews for azimuth or angle.Everything I referenced in this review is available on Amazon. Happy hunting star gazers...!!

Access to EF lenses and works well with common vid
Bought this in conjunction with an EOS M body to make all my Canon glass work with the EOS M. Does that job very well, although the AF is still very slow, but that's a camera body problem, not the mount adapter. The adapter is solidly built, and durable in the field in tropical monsoon season conditions. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the adapter has a tripod mounting foot, that, when paired with the standard Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate, makes an EOS M stand up quite well on its own on tabletops. I put my 501 plate on when I bought the camera, and it's never come off.

Does what it is supposed to do
Adapter works great, it lets me attach my EF and EF-S lenses to my Canon EOS M without any issues.

Q
Why could not adjust the aperture when use EOS-M4/3 adapter ring
A
  1. As Canon’s EOS lenses are electronically controlled, most Canon EF mount lenses do not feature a manual aperture ring,so when used on our EOS-M4/3, which is a full manual operation adapter ring, the aperture could not be transferred to the camera, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default.
  2. Some buyer mentioned could not adjust the aperture, actually this is because your lens does not have the aperture control function, If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default
  3. You could set your aperture via this way, but we do not suggest to use this way: You can control the f-stop by putting the lens on an EOS body, stop it down using the DOF preview button, and while holding the button down taking the lens off the camera. You can then transfer the lens to the M4/3 camera, and it will retain the f-stop.
