disappointed with the case
In the past, all the filters I purchased came in a round plastic case that held it securely. This came in a square one, and there is a lot of slop inside, so it slides around to get marred up. I was planning on writing a complaint to Tiffen.

The adapter is designed for Nikon lenses, including D mount. If the Tamron fits the Nikon D80 it should work. As for the lack of aperture ring on the Tamron ... not sure about that. Perhaps the Nikon D80 has an in camera aperture selection.

Not sure of the size of each lens listed but the bag is designed so you can make some areas bigger than others and this should work well for you. Works great for me.
