Use all of the EF and EF-S lenses on your EF-M mou
If you have an M mount camera, this adapter lets you use the hundreds of Canon lens models made since the late 1980's, many very reasonably priced. The Canon adapter maintains the quick focus of the camera, and was selling at a steep discount on Amazon.

Much needed QoL
There’s not much you can say about the adapter. I mean it works so what else would you expect? Well, it is well constructed and makes a nice click when installing your lens. I read some of the reviews on the cheaper alternatives and saw reviews mentioning the product feels cheap and how the lens are not firmly and securely attached. I rather not risk it but others have without issues. If you’re on a budget, do look at the cheaper alternative. If you can afford it then this is the one you want.

Perfect match for the EOS M
So you finally decided on getting the EOS M (it's flaws considered). I assume you are a canon user, have a couple of good (canon EF/EF-S mount) lens lying around and would like to be able to use those on you EOS M. Just like me, you love your canon dslr but sometimes wish you can travel light but still be able to enjoy the canon ecosystem that you have grown to love. If you are what I assume you are, get this lens adapter.I took a gamble and bought a "like-new" used from a seller at Amazon and was very happy with a purchase. For anything more than $150 I probably would think twice. But I am not taking a start out because of the price. This adapter handles every canon mount lens I threw at it. The build quality is nice. The design (the way it attaches to the eos m; the included, detachable tripod mount) is well thought of... just perfect.

Absolutely amazing for the price, im buying a pen
Ill update this review in 6 months if something goes south, but currently im in love.Its full metal and my a6000 nor the adapter couldnt care less about the 85-210mm tank of a minolta lens(which weighs like 6 a6000s), and I capture stellar photos with my f2 45mm, the entire construction is solid and you could never do better for the price, ordered a pentax one as well and cant wait.The push pen feels wobbly but does NOT feel "weak" if that makes sense, just not a tight enough tolerance during creation, nothing to nock for the price range and feels secure. (The number one reason I didnt buy one of the random $10 adapters after reading reviews)The only thing stopping me from fitting every lens with its own adapter is long shipments from china, get more in stateside!

Why isn't this more popular?!
One year update: Still the best! I got a bigger phone and its one of the biggest out there. It is still a champ! My only complaint or suggestion to create a bigger lid to block more sun, its difficult to see the screen around noon when the sun is high in the air. I still wouldn't switch out this mount though, I would recommend to anybody.Original review: I have tried window, dash, AC, and magnetic mounts. This is by far the most superior in my experience. I have only had it for one week so I will update my review as time goes on. It doesn't leave residue on the dash which I appreciate. It does come with 3m tape to firmly mount the clamp to the dash. I wouldn't use it though because that is the whole point in my opinion, to not damage your car. I drive pretty crazy and the phone has not fallen. Its a big phone by the way. Only when I dismount the phone will the mount lift off the dash board but that is expected since there is nothing for it to stick too. I would say the only real con but not really is that the phone shakes. All mounts shake a little bit, I would say compared to the other mounts this is either 2nd or 3rd from the bottom in terms of shaking.

Bright, Easily Installed Light With A Flawed Touch
Update: We have two of these lights and over the past 6 months the first of lights installed has worked out very well. The concerns about how well the magnetic mount would grip turned out to be unfounded as the adhesive metal pad and magnets have worked flawlessly. The initial issue with locating and activating the power switch when the light is mounted under a kitchen cabinet persists. Additionally, we're having issues with the USB adapter which powers the light falling out of the electric socket as it uses an old mobile phone style adapter that stands out from the outlet. Overall the light is working out well and I've raised the light's rating to 4

Great adapter, must have. Can't beat the price and works perfect. Allows you to use way more lens on your ef-m mount camera.

FD series adapter ring installation and operation steps.

There are two types of FD mounts
FD/FL Breech-Mount (with a silver ring, you need to rotate the silver ring when attachment and removal), breech-lock mounts are identified by the silver ring
New-FD Bayonet Mount, bayonet mounts are identified by a red dot next to the lens release button
Here are the steps to install breech-mount version
- Set your lens to smallest except for auto(bayonet mount only)
- Rotating the Lock-Open ring of the adapter on the OPEN side
- Line up the red dot with your lens and adapter ring(if yours is bayonet mount, just turn the adapter ring towards clockwise direction to make lens and adapter tight,then ignore the 4th step)
- Turn your lens ring towards counterclockwise direction to make the adapter ring tight with your lens
- Rotating the Lock-Open ring of the adapter on the LOCK side to engage the aperture closing pin
Operating the adapter
- If you'd like to operate the lens aperture with the adapter; on your lens, set the aperture to the smallest opening and use the adapter ring
- If you'd like to operate the lens aperture with the lens; place the adapter ring on the small aperture(Lock place) and control the aperture on the lens

Too loose/there is gap between lens and adapter ring

- If there is ever any more than a slight amount of rotational play, you may want to try tightening the lens mount adapter so it will hold the lens tighter to the mount. There are 3 flanges in the middle of the adapter (what the lens locks onto) that are split open slightly, this gap is what gives the tension that holds the lens tight to the body. Over time and with use these gaps decrease in size, no longer pulling the lens tight to the adapter, which allows the lens to move inside the mount more than it should.
- To tighten the fit, get a slim metal object (a #1.5 or #2.0 small flat eyeglass screwdriver is ideal) and insert it into the slit to open it up just a little bit (see images below, make sure to do it to all 3 evenly). The more you open the gap, the tighter the lens will be to the adapter; too much and the lens will have a hard time mounting so make sure to do it just a little bit at a time to all 3 flanges evenly, it doesn’t take much at all to get a tight fit.Note: please do not use too much strength, or the shrapnel will be damaged.

yes, i had no problems with infinity focus with this adapter. the only FD mount lens i use anymore with my sony is a vivitar 20mm, and i pretty much only shoot infinity focus with it.

is this mount adapter work with panasonic GX-7 body & nikkor dx 18-200 lens.

The adapter will mount the lens and you will be able to use it manually. However, my copy of the adapter does not allow the lens to be fully mounted all the way until it clicks into place. It doesn't quite make it, but it's still very solidly mounted. Also, the manual aperture linkage doesn't work properly (on my copy, at least) so exposure is controlled only by shutter speed and/or ISO. You will be able to manually focus and zoom the lens but no VR, of course. It will be a frustrating experience. Instead, get a 14-140 Panasonic zoom if you can afford it!
