Fanastic variable ND filter. I watched tonnes of reviews and videos to see what variable ND was the best to get. This won in almost every test I won. Great fit onto my lenses, nice smooth turning motion and most important, it blocks out the sun!Very little is any vignetting at high NDs, worth the price. I also have a 52mm lens ring and I bought a step-up/down to make it fit that one as well.

 How you can use Variable ND with CPL

I am one of those photographers who keeps a circular polarising filter on my lenses full time. Recently I purchased a Urth Gobe 67mm for my 70-300mm F4L lens. Although this is a heavy zoom lens, I find that I can handhold it to produce photomerge panoramas. I wanted to see the effect I could obtain / create with a Variable ND filter. One word, OUTSTANDING. I was so impressed that I recently purchased a 77mm Urth Variable ND filter for my 20-105 lens. Haven't tried this one out yet but I am confident it will produce excellent results.The filters come in metal containers, the glass appears to be without any blemish or flaws.Delivery was as promised, so happy customer.

I have wanted a ND filter for some time, and a variable ND is just the right thing! Using a ND filter allows you to take much longer exposures while keeping the aperture wider open particularly during daylight hours, all while maintaining a NEUTRAL color effect on the picture. I got the 77mm as that fits both my 24-70 and 70-200 lenses, and I can adapt it down to fit a couple other medium range zooms I have.I really like that the inner ring has textured grooves which greatly simplifies tightening and removing the filter from your lens. Turning the outer ring is firm, but not overly stiff, yet tight enough to stay where you put it without easily turning.RECOMMENDED

This is my first variable ND filter, so I can't compare it to another filter. I used this filter during a beach photo shoot in early afternoon harsh sunlight. I was very happy with the results and will continue to use it and recommend its use to others.

First variable ND filter purchased (all others I have had have been static) and what a difference it makes!So easy to move around, and not having to carry more than one per lens is a real space-saver in the bag!I've experienced no false colour or the infamous X on any images (although I don't use this all the way closed!)Comparing it to a friends premium ND (I won't mention the brand), I could not see a difference at all in image quality. However, the premium ND was a bit stiffer to move around, so it felt like it would stay exactly where left. The K&F one does feel like it may loosen up over time, although this hasn't happened yet a few months in!

Great ND variable filter, no problem to fit my Canon DCLR

I was a little weary about purchasing a variable ND filter at this price, but after a couple uses, any doubts are gone. I have not encountered the "X" pattern, and haven't noticed any color casts. Build quality feels really nice, the dampening of the twisting ring is spot on. Not too firm that it's difficult to adjust, but not too loose where it will drift. For the price, you can't go wrong with this!
