Love this thing. Very sturdy yet small and out of the way. Only downside is that the release button would have been a bit easier to access if it was on the opposite side.

This is a great little set up for the price. The bulbs work great and the umbrellas give you a pretty good soft-box type of feel. It's a lot of plastic but for shooting YouTube videos or for some simple photography stuff it's a great little set up. I recommend it if you are starting out in video or are just looking to up the quality of photo/video for your website - like I am :)

Upgraded from Creative pebbles 2.0 and wow, yeah you can definitely tell the difference. I tried to cancel my order because I saw so many reviews talk about how they are for studio monitoring, but to my untrained ear they are great for everything I use them for (gaming, movies & tv, and music). Glad i decided to try them out as once i heard them i decided to stick with them. In the future I may look into a subwoofer, but now I will wait a little longer since these are more than enough of an upgrade for me for now. Love the adjustable knobs in the back too, if im listening to some music ill turn up the bass like +4db, but i usually leave it on the default settings almost all the time. I recommend a pair of Sound Addicted Studio Monitor Foam Isolation Pads. I feel like i definitely notice an upgrade to the bass and of course it is less annoying for people that have rooms next to you

I replaced all of the drop ceiling lights in our basement with these and what a difference it has made. We had the old "can" lights before and we always ended up with different bulbs and light temperatures as we replaced lights. These are so much cleaner, dim very well, and the ability to change the color temperature is a nice feature if the need arises. Installation overall takes some time but is really simple for anyone comfortable with working with wiring. We have been using these for almost a year and have not had any issues.
