Glad my old speakers died.
My Creative T20's died so I was looking for a replacement only better. I considered Bose Companions, Mackee CR3, Edifiers 1280T and Klipsch ProMedia 2.1. These were the largest speakers that would fit on my desktop. All the reviews on here are people who mix music and not just music listeners so I skeptical about these sounding good. I don't mix music I listen to music! Let me tell you these things rock! I didn't know I was missing this much music at my computer desktop.

Amazing for $100
I bought a set of these after doing a lot of research and considering the Bose Companions and MusicMonitors. I decided on the Gigaworks T20 and based on value I definitely made the right choice. These sound fantastic for $100 in my opinion. I have an expensive stereo system at home, and while you can't compare these to something like that, they are as good as anything in their class.I was looking for something I can carry with me while traveling. Size is a very big concern for me and this is the only place these really failed me. They are a bit bulky for my limited travel space and desk space. The sound from them is beautiful and natural sounding while watching movies. On one of my laptops I did find the volume lacking a little during soft speech in movies. On my Asus laptop the sound was great though.Due to size considerations mostly, I decided to get the Bose MusicMonitor. For my needs the Bose MusicMonitor are a better fit, but for 4x the price. I don't have the volume issue on either laptop with the Bose and find the speech much easier to understand on the Bose. However, I find the Gigaworks have a more natural and pleasant sound, besides that they are in a different world as far as price goes. I have to give the edge in Bass to the Bose. So much bass from something this size is something you really have to hear to believe. As for the T20's, the base is quite good but it's not going to shock anyone. The headphones jack, extra line in, and treble/base adjustments on the T20 are very nice also.

Amazing performance and capacity
Works flawlessly, I’ve had it for maybe a month now and I’ve encountered no problems. Only thing I’d say is M.2 is definitely a bit faster.

Solid 2.0 Speakers for Your PC
Having used a 2.1 Altec Lansing pc speaker system which finally developed a short after about ten years, I decided on 2.0 speakers and after reading a number reviews selected the Creative T20's. I use them exclusively for my PC in a home office, so I was willing to trade some bass for the simplicity of not having a sub-woofer, These speakers have met my expectations, especially their accurate and very enoyable mid-range performance (voices sound great), and the balance of mid's and treble is spot on. The highs are clear as well. My first impression was that I could tell that the lack of a sub-woofer made a difference, but after spending a week with my T20's, they have won me over. They do extend their bass more than typical speakers of this size due to their design. The speakers are pleasantly balanced, although there is a deficit in the depth of the bass compared to my 2.1 system. I pretty much expected this, but had hoped for a little thumpier bass. However, at the significant discount over brand new for "barely used" speakers via a third party seller, I know I got a good value. If I had it to do over again, I might have paid more for the Creative T40's in search of just a bit more bass, but I so thoroughly enjoy the mid's and high's on the T20's that I look forward to enjoying these speakers for years to come, and they are a little more compact than the T40's. For my computer desk top in my home office the T20's do the job very nicely. If you really need more depth/thump out of your lower ranges but are married to a 2.0 solution, stepping up in the GigaWorks T family of speakers is probably worth the investment.

why this is a better option than m.2 enclosures
ok so many of you are considering m.2 enclosures as a better alternative. here is why they are not. my use case. I have a Mac with 512g hd. plenty to store my programs and any video project I am working on. more than plenty. so why not use m.2 enclosure to hard store my videos? simple. with this I put a sticker on it with the date of when I filled it up. then throw it in a drawer. then when I want to pull a video I shot in may 2021, I find the drive that is stored on and wala it is there. not so easy to do on m.2. so you put a sticker with the date where? store it how? and have to pull your current m.2 out, install that one and see if your video is truly on that one or if you remembered the date wrong. seems like a big hassle to me.

Better audio then Bose Companion 2 Series 3 for le
I bought the Bose Companion 2 Series 3 speakers first since they have such rave reviews. But after owning them for about 7 months I started looking at good 2.0 speakers again.....these Creative T20 Seires 2 speakers have been out for a long time. But sometimes you shouldn't mess with something that doesn't need to be improved. A friend of mine has these so I knew what I was getting into even before purchasing them, the T20 Series 2 speakers have clearer highs, equal mids and better bass response compared to the Bose all for a lower cost. They also sport such nice things as a power indicator LED lol. The T20's put out great sounding mid to upper bass but like the Bose will struggle with deep low bass frequencys. This is to be expected. For example not even the most current blue tooth speakers can achieve this without clipping or distorting. These speakers also look more sofisticated and even more stylish then the Bose, plus the ability to adjust treble and bass with out digging into EQ menus is great. So while these speakers have been out for years they still compete with today's offerings while costing less and sounding better. If you listen to rock, jazz, blues or anything that uses allot of vocals or Instraments these speakers will work well for you. However if your into bass heavy music these won't work well for you as they struggle with low bass frequencys as did the Bose speakers. But keep in mind that these and the Bose speakers will outperform a low end 2.1 system costing the same or less. Even at lower volumes the T20's and Bose all sound great. But the Creative T20 and T40 have more details at lower volumes making them again better then the Bose Companion 2 Series 3 speakers.I look forward to owning these for many years to come.

Xlnt 2.0 PC Speakers
These T20 Series II's sound just as good as or better than any other PC speakers in their price range, and they look a lot better than most of the others. No, they're not audiophile speakers, but they're more than adequate for use with a computer or mobile device, and can get plenty loud when driven by an Android phone through their 1/8" stereo AUX port.

Q
Will this work on my sony a6000 and tokina minolta 100-300mm macro zoom?
A
Yes
Q
Too loose/there is gap between lens and adapter ring
A
  1. If there is ever any more than a slight amount of rotational play, you may want to try tightening the lens mount adapter so it will hold the lens tighter to the mount. There are 3 flanges in the middle of the adapter (what the lens locks onto) that are split open slightly, this gap is what gives the tension that holds the lens tight to the body. Over time and with use these gaps decrease in size, no longer pulling the lens tight to the adapter, which allows the lens to move inside the mount more than it should.
  2. To tighten the fit, get a slim metal object (a #1.5 or #2.0 small flat eyeglass screwdriver is ideal) and insert it into the slit to open it up just a little bit (see images below, make sure to do it to all 3 evenly). The more you open the gap, the tighter the lens will be to the adapter; too much and the lens will have a hard time mounting so make sure to do it just a little bit at a time to all 3 flanges evenly, it doesn’t take much at all to get a tight fit.Note: please do not use too much strength, or the shrapnel will be damaged.

Q
What kind of rear and front caps would I buy to go on this since it doesn't come with any?
A
I don't think you need any. There is no glass.
Q
Does this adapter allow for canon fd lenses to focus to infinity on sony e-mount mirrorless cameras?
A
yes, i had no problems with infinity focus with this adapter. the only FD mount lens i use anymore with my sony is a vivitar 20mm, and i pretty much only shoot infinity focus with it.
Q
is this mount adapter work with panasonic GX-7 body & nikkor dx 18-200 lens.
A
The adapter will mount the lens and you will be able to use it manually. However, my copy of the adapter does not allow the lens to be fully mounted all the way until it clicks into place. It doesn't quite make it, but it's still very solidly mounted. Also, the manual aperture linkage doesn't work properly (on my copy, at least) so exposure is controlled only by shutter speed and/or ISO. You will be able to manually focus and zoom the lens but no VR, of course. It will be a frustrating experience. Instead, get a 14-140 Panasonic zoom if you can afford it!
