sehr gute Qualität
Zeiss Filter von sehr guter QualitätJe nach Situation wäre ein Neutral Clear Schutz Filter(ohne UV Schutz) noch besser.

Excelent in low light,.
Great webcam. Excellent looks. The thing that holds ito on the Laptop/Monitor seems to be too large for no reason. I would've made it smaller from a better material, for the price that it is being sold they should've "gone the extra mile".Carl Zeiss optics are supposedly what makes a difference. However the lens is the same size as all the regular webcams.I would've thought that Zeiss optics would use a larger and brighted high index lenses that they are known for, to allow more light to get in and improve image quality as additional benefit. Not so. Well the lens does seem to let more light through then the plastics.but most of the improvements seems to come from post processing of the captured image(this is a speculation at this point, I have not done any professional testing to verify my inference).

Awesome rangefinder
Bought this for my NV antelope hunt. Was very pleased in the ranging capability of this unit. Glass is not as nice as my Zeiss Victory PRF but it’s also much less expensive, also the Zeiss doesn’t have the ballistic angle calculations built in Ike the Vortex does which is very nice. But with that said the glass is by no means bad, it’s actually very good. Took this to the local range and the range finding is very accurate. The VIP warranty also can’t be beat, this is a main reason why I’m converting my optics to Vortex. This rangefinder is awesome.

It's not a product like B&W. Wonderful for sony ze
you get what you paid for. It's not a product like B&W.Wonderful for sony zeiss 55 1.8. I touched the glassed in the lens and made some scratch and then decide to get this one. This filter can really protect the lens from unintentional touch.

Not the proper Carl Zeiss stamped lens
Isn't the Carl Zeiss optics lens as advertised but it;s a much clearer picture now so... I got that going for me, which is nice.

I have some pretty fancy binoculars and still have
I got my Brunton 7x18 scope today and tested it against a couple of fancy state of the art binoculars I'm lucky to have, a pair of 70's area Carl Zeiss 6x20B that I bought for $100 back in the day and a pair of 7x35 Leica Trinovid (perhaps 80's era) inherited from my mother. I've gone back to needing a scope for full time carry and I hate to do that to the Zeiss binoculars (I just price checked them on Ebay. $300--used, ridiculous.)I tested by looking at distant license plates and street signs with crisp lettering. In good light the 7x35's are better than the 6x20's but not that much better for my purposes. I'm not studying tiny details of little birds hiding in the shadows. The Zeiss 6x20's can make license plates easily readable when the Brunton scope struggles. In full bright sunlight the Bronton closes the gap a little. Oddly the image I see in the 6x20's seems larger than what I'm seeing in the 7x18's. Is the Bronton scope really a 7 power? The Bronton's optics require refocusing everytime I use it and the focus ring is sensitive. I'm guessing that's because the optics are simpler to keep the price down. The expensive binoculars don't require so much focusing.Put the wrist lanyard on first thing, leave it hanging out of the pouch and always use it. There is no such thing as optics that like being dropped. For it's price I doubt this scope has very sophisticated lens mounts.I think Bronson set out to make the least expensive scope they could that doesn't suck and so far I think they succeeded. Do my 15-80x more expensive binoculars perform better? Well, yes. Are they so much better I'm too spoiled to carry the little Bronton. Actually, no. For recreation and relaxing or when I know I'll be needing binoculars the expensive toys are a joy. Good binoculars are great to have. But for full time carry in my harsh working environments the fancy binoculars are a distraction. The Bronton is good enough to be useful and it's not a tragedy if it's lost or broken. Everything doesn't have to be expensive to be good.

It perfect for my waterfall images
It easy to use...fits my Zeiss 16-35mm and my 24-70mm and gives me very nice results....allowing me to dial in the right amount of exposure for the effect i want!

Q
Will this work on my sony a6000 and tokina minolta 100-300mm macro zoom?
A
Yes
Q
Too loose/there is gap between lens and adapter ring
A
  1. If there is ever any more than a slight amount of rotational play, you may want to try tightening the lens mount adapter so it will hold the lens tighter to the mount. There are 3 flanges in the middle of the adapter (what the lens locks onto) that are split open slightly, this gap is what gives the tension that holds the lens tight to the body. Over time and with use these gaps decrease in size, no longer pulling the lens tight to the adapter, which allows the lens to move inside the mount more than it should.
  2. To tighten the fit, get a slim metal object (a #1.5 or #2.0 small flat eyeglass screwdriver is ideal) and insert it into the slit to open it up just a little bit (see images below, make sure to do it to all 3 evenly). The more you open the gap, the tighter the lens will be to the adapter; too much and the lens will have a hard time mounting so make sure to do it just a little bit at a time to all 3 flanges evenly, it doesn’t take much at all to get a tight fit.Note: please do not use too much strength, or the shrapnel will be damaged.

Q
What kind of rear and front caps would I buy to go on this since it doesn't come with any?
A
I don't think you need any. There is no glass.
Q
Does this adapter allow for canon fd lenses to focus to infinity on sony e-mount mirrorless cameras?
A
yes, i had no problems with infinity focus with this adapter. the only FD mount lens i use anymore with my sony is a vivitar 20mm, and i pretty much only shoot infinity focus with it.
Q
is this mount adapter work with panasonic GX-7 body & nikkor dx 18-200 lens.
A
The adapter will mount the lens and you will be able to use it manually. However, my copy of the adapter does not allow the lens to be fully mounted all the way until it clicks into place. It doesn't quite make it, but it's still very solidly mounted. Also, the manual aperture linkage doesn't work properly (on my copy, at least) so exposure is controlled only by shutter speed and/or ISO. You will be able to manually focus and zoom the lens but no VR, of course. It will be a frustrating experience. Instead, get a 14-140 Panasonic zoom if you can afford it!
