I wish I had of seen this before
I love macro photography and recently brought a regular speedlight (albeit a compact one) so that I could take it around with me; a bit of a pain, if I'm honest, with having the diffuser on it and trying to get the best light. Then I noticed this one a month after, and it was even cheaper, so I thought I would try it.I actually have 2 macro lenses over the years, a Nikon F mount and a Nikon Z mount, and there is an important thing you need to do with the Z mount lens; do not mount the flash to the lens part, which moves in and out, attach it with a larger adapter to the outer case. This is because it will put undue pressure on the lens and can result in lens motor failure. I did a lot of research on that, so I thought you should know.Loved the fact that it came with so many adapters, as I was a bit worried I was going to have to find some to fit my lenses. The light is beautifully even that comes out of it and really makes your picture pop, and the cable to the main unit is soft and flexible and doesn't pull against front. Very simple controls on the back to adjust the power, and so far, I've only needed the lowest setting for macro work, although I'm sure the higher setting will come in useful for portraits (not tried that yet).

Excelent in low light,.
Great webcam. Excellent looks. The thing that holds ito on the Laptop/Monitor seems to be too large for no reason. I would've made it smaller from a better material, for the price that it is being sold they should've "gone the extra mile".Carl Zeiss optics are supposedly what makes a difference. However the lens is the same size as all the regular webcams.I would've thought that Zeiss optics would use a larger and brighted high index lenses that they are known for, to allow more light to get in and improve image quality as additional benefit. Not so. Well the lens does seem to let more light through then the plastics.but most of the improvements seems to come from post processing of the captured image(this is a speculation at this point, I have not done any professional testing to verify my inference).

Another Winning Z Mount Lens from Nikon
I enjoy macro photography and was very happy when Nikon announced the 105mm f2.8 Micro lens for the Z mount cameras. The lens is larger than than the F mount counterpart, but not as heavy. It produces outstanding images, sharp from corner to corner. As a S-line Z mount lens, it has a customizable control ring and function button.Focusing is quick and silent, and the lens includes a focus-limiting switch to limit the working distance for close up work. It also has 4.5 stops of VR, so while you may not want to necessarily ditch the tripod for true macro work, you can use this in the field with confidence if you are not traveling with a tripod. The included photo was taken handheld.Highly recommended!

Great little but powerful addition to Tough
This device should receive some kind of industry design award. It channels the builtin flash light to an even ring of LEDs for close up purpose. Must have if you plan to take a lot of macro close up photos. All the instructions listed in amazon assumes you know how to remove the lens mount on the camera so it was never mentioned. The full instruction to mount the Macro ring is as follow:1. Take your camera, put both of your thumbs on the two side of the lens mount (the ring that has a red dot on it).2. Turn counter-clockwise 1/4 turn until you feel the mount is released.3. Remove the lens mount.4. Position the macro ring on the lens by aligning the white dot on the micro ring to the white dot (7 o'clock position) on the lens. Turn clockwise until the macro ring intake cover the flash.5. Switch on your camera and turn the dial to the macro mode.6. Press down arrow on the OK dial and go to flash setting. Select the LED on setting.7. Take the camera facing you, press on the shutter release and you can see the macro ring lights up. You are all set then.Enjoy. . camera iton) lower right camera ote t.

It's not a product like B&W. Wonderful for sony ze
you get what you paid for. It's not a product like B&W.Wonderful for sony zeiss 55 1.8. I touched the glassed in the lens and made some scratch and then decide to get this one. This filter can really protect the lens from unintentional touch.

Q
Can i use this on a canon d80 100 mm macro ef lens ? it says 67 mm on the lens cap but i don't see the exact answer. thank you
A
67mm should also be stenciled on the front edge of the lens somewhere. If so, then you should be good to go. It should be on the lens because a lens cap can be lost or broken.
Q
Will this work on my sony a6000 and tokina minolta 100-300mm macro zoom?
A
Yes
Q
Too loose/there is gap between lens and adapter ring
A
  1. If there is ever any more than a slight amount of rotational play, you may want to try tightening the lens mount adapter so it will hold the lens tighter to the mount. There are 3 flanges in the middle of the adapter (what the lens locks onto) that are split open slightly, this gap is what gives the tension that holds the lens tight to the body. Over time and with use these gaps decrease in size, no longer pulling the lens tight to the adapter, which allows the lens to move inside the mount more than it should.
  2. To tighten the fit, get a slim metal object (a #1.5 or #2.0 small flat eyeglass screwdriver is ideal) and insert it into the slit to open it up just a little bit (see images below, make sure to do it to all 3 evenly). The more you open the gap, the tighter the lens will be to the adapter; too much and the lens will have a hard time mounting so make sure to do it just a little bit at a time to all 3 flanges evenly, it doesn’t take much at all to get a tight fit.Note: please do not use too much strength, or the shrapnel will be damaged.

Q
What kind of rear and front caps would I buy to go on this since it doesn't come with any?
A
I don't think you need any. There is no glass.
Q
is this mount adapter work with panasonic GX-7 body & nikkor dx 18-200 lens.
A
The adapter will mount the lens and you will be able to use it manually. However, my copy of the adapter does not allow the lens to be fully mounted all the way until it clicks into place. It doesn't quite make it, but it's still very solidly mounted. Also, the manual aperture linkage doesn't work properly (on my copy, at least) so exposure is controlled only by shutter speed and/or ISO. You will be able to manually focus and zoom the lens but no VR, of course. It will be a frustrating experience. Instead, get a 14-140 Panasonic zoom if you can afford it!
