Fits the Sony VFA49R1 Filter Adapter with a filter inserted. I wish it had an option to connect some type of lanyard to attach to the extra lanyard hole on the camera, but unfortunately it does not. You can find ones on Amazon without the Sony name printed on it for cheaper, but if you want one with the name this seems to be sturdy and of good quality.

Zhiyun is notable for their gimbals. my first ever Zhiyun product was the Zhiyun Smooth 4 that I used extensively with my iPhone SE back when I got my first ever iPhone as well. I was excited to try out this wand light because I know that Zhiyun represents that sort of quality.Thankfully, it wasn't a surprise that this wand light is so sophisticated. The 100W capability is rather impressive, and it's totally overkill for my small studio, but it will definitely come in handy. I tried taking some nice pictures of the product, I hope you get to see what the product's like!The controls are intuitive as well. Just go over the manual briefly, you won't waste time, trust me. That's a misconception I used to have about products in general, that their manual was worthless, but in this case it's actually worth the read. You'll familiarize yourself with the controls of this wand light rather quickly.I absolutely recommend this if you're looking to step up your game in terms of lighting. There's just so many options and creative ideas that you can execute with this wand light. From product photography to content creation, you can do a LOT with this light.

The Zhiyun Crane 3S can handle pretty much any modern DSLR or Cinema Camera you can throw at it. It has more than enough torque to handle large cameras AND large zoom and prime lenses. I put as much weight on it as I could and it handled it all even as the medium torque setting. I don't recommend it for lighter setups as you may experience vibrations but if you have one of the big cinema cameras you won't find a more professional setup, aside from a Steadicam rig that costs thousands and thousands of dollars and requires expert training. If you've used gimbals before you can use this one right out of the box its that easy to set up. Ive you haven't used them you will learn very quickly. I also own the Weebill Lab S and this is just as easy to use, just a bit bigger!

Part 1 - Minolta MD to Sony NEX adapterTechnically, it slightly overshoots infinity but the issue is easily corrected by dialing back the focus ring just a tad --- Not exact but clearly better than not-at-all.Although very light due to extensive aluminum usage, the build quality and fit-and-finish of the adapter is superb. Connections on the lens and camera mount sides are tight and precise --- absolutely, zero slop. The top of the lens release button is flattened making the lens removal process very easy and comfortable.Other notes:- There are no electrical connections so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens itself- When mounting the lens, turn the adapter clockwise till you hear a "click"- Tested with a Minolta 85mm f/1.7 Rokkor-X MD lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera-----------------------Part 2 - Nikon Ai to Sony NEX adapterEdit: Based on my positive experience with the Minolta MD adapter, I also purchased the Nikon Ai adapter later.As with the Minolta MD adapter, the Nikon Ai version focuses beyond infinity a tiny bit. Fortunately, the same solution applies - dial back the focus ring and the horizon will become crystal clear. The build quality is impeccable and the finish is smooth and clean of burrs or machine marks. Connections on both sides are taut and precise with zero play.Additional notes for Nikon Ai adapter:- No electrical connections present so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens.- Unlike the Minolta MD adapter, mounting the lens for Nikon adapter requires a counter-clockwise turn until you hear the "click" of the locking mechanism- Tested with a Nikon Micro Nikkor 55m f/2.8 Ai-S MF lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera

According to Zhiyun, the maximum payload for the Crane M3 is 2.2 lbs. = 1 kg (1000 g).Therefore, I assumed it would easily support a 240 g iPhone 13 pro max, a 73 g DJI light, a 28 g diffusion lens with clip, and a 31 g wireless mic receiver, for a total of 540 g: however, my experiences is that it could not support even the 240g cell phone and a lightweight plastic phone clamp.Here is the problem: note that the grayed-out DSLR in Amazon's image, from back to front, has significant depth, which makes it is easy to balance the tilt motor, by sliding the camera back and forth a few mm at a time.Problem is, a cell phone mounted in a phone clamp has only minimal depth from front to back. Despite positioning the phone and clamp as far forward as possible on the tilt motor, it was still impossible to balance. When released from my hand from a vertical position, it would fall backward with significant force.The reason I am deducting one star is that the title suggests the device is designed for use with Smartphones. Actually, according to Zhiyun's compatibility list, the Crane M3 is designed to work with a specific subset of DSLR cameras, with Sony at the top of the list.BTW, according to a Vlogger who states that he is especially familiar with the Zhiyun line, if the purchaser notifies the company which particular camera they intend to use when they order the device, the company will supply the device with a mounting plate specifically designed for that particular camera.

Just barely fits my Zhiyun Tech Crane 2 along with my Cineroid monitor (you have to position the clamp on the grippy part of the gimbal handle so the rubber on the clamp grips onto the handle. It will slip off if you attach it onto any part of the smooth area of the gimbal handle).

The Zhiyun Crane M3 gimbal is a very handy stabilizing tool with many different features that can be used for photography and video making. It is also very lightweight for what it offers, which makes it very convenient to carry around, and does not feel like a burden to use for an extensive period of time. The controls are also quite easy to follow, and makes things even more convenient. An essential for B-rolls.
