I was looking for a new webcam to use in meetings while working from home or the occasional trip to the office, and I think this is a good fit for most people in the same boat. It is not very large, so it can be easily moved or transported between your work locations. Since it does not require any special drivers or additional software, you can simply plug it into your computer, select it in your video application of choice, and start using it. It has been recognized in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and the native Mac OS Photo Booth. What is also nice is that my computer will now default to using this camera whenever I open up the associated application.I have been impressed by the customizability of this camera. Between the wide angle, remote control settings, and the gimbal mount, you can get pretty much whatever subject you want into the camera’s field of view despite your choice of mounting location. For example, I have mine mounted on top of one monitor in a triple screen setup, and I can get it to center on me very easily. I also like the brightness settings on the ring light. I typically set it to the lowest or middle setting during the day. Even though I stand 2-3 feet back from the camera, I still come in clearly (although I do also have the camera’s built-in brightness adjustment turned on). The camera’s sensor is high quality, providing a good picture in low light without too much high ISO grainy-ness. The mount, privacy cover, and remote all operate as advertised. I was happy with the number of ways the mount could be adjusted for a secure fit, and by the overall build quality of the camera - at least as good as a Logitech camera. I would say something nice about the instructions but I haven’t had to crack them open yet - the camera is intuitive.There are only a couple of things that I didn’t care for with this camera. The first issue is that the ring light is in the daylight spectrum (probably ~5K). While this isn’t a big deal during the day, I found it has a tendency to wash out colors / skin tones at night. The other thing I didn’t care for with this camera was that the camera actually had to be active (green light on / recording) in order for the ring light to turn on, so it will never be a full 1:1 replacement for a standalone ring light.

I don't regret buying this one bit. It makes me feel like I'm back to the vintage days. The camera is extremely easy to use and the instructions are very clear. The camera case is study, strong and seems like it'll last a while. I'd definitely recommend getting this!

My daughter loves this camera. It’s super light so initially I thought I made a mistake by only ordering a case n not the actual camera. But it’s all there. Super cute super light and super easy to use! My daughter is 6 n this made a great b day present

The camera is such a pretty pink shade like I wanted. It is also a nice size for pocketing or put in small spaces. It came with a lot of supplies for the camera. The price was really great! I got it when it was on sale. So far it does take really good pictures. Glad I found it on here. Thanks

I have this camera for almost 3 months since my baby wasn’t still able to crawl, now this camera is a must! Very Good night system , temperature and sound detection, and it seems that you can add more cameras to your system and been managed from the same mini lcd.

I bought the AKASO Brave 7 to use for travel, hiking, and other activities where I might want to capture some video with a device that's less fragile than my phone.Although GoPro is the leader in this space with a lot of excellent action cameras, I felt that for my usage the price point was too high, so this camera felt more reasonably priced for my usage.Despite my initial concerns with quality, I was blown away by the quality of the AKASO Brave 7. The camera itself is very lightweight, but sturdy, so it definitely feels like it can handle some wear and tear which is important for an action camera. It's also waterproof up to 33ft which means you can take it for a swim without worrying about damaging it. Finally, it records video in up to 4K30FPS which is fairly good for this price point.AKASO also exceeded expectations by including a lot of accessories like a camera frame, a variety of mounts, tape, and some other accessories for the variety of use cases you might want to use the camera for. The coolest accessory that comes with this camera is the remote control. This enables you to remotely take photos and start and stop video recording which is helpful if you have the camera mounted or on a tripod from afar.Like any budget device, there are certainly some downsides. AKASO would have nailed the video quality if they could offer 4K60FPS. I also wish the Brave 7 came with a built-in thread so it could be attached to a tripod or gimbal without the frame (like the Brave 7 LE)During my usage, I found the camera settings fairly easy to navigate on the touch screen which was nice and the inclusion of a front-facing camera was nice for taking selfies. The voice control is also a nice touch for hands-off control.Overall, I would recommend this as a great action camera for casual use. I think if you're a power user or a professional, you'll probably want to invest in a higher-end device.

i really like this camera. wide angle and adjustible on the app. easy to use. records all motion. clear camera/video view. i out it by my driveway since i oarkmy car there and it covers the entire area front of the house including my neighbors as well.this is highly recommended to buy .

I will share the video in my review.I was surprised that the images and movies that were taken at night were so clear. The footage was in monochrome (the image and movies are in color in the daytime). The LED light does not glow at night (just a red infrared lamp turns on), so animals would not be surprised by the LED light and run away. There are three PIR sensors (one main and two side sensors) on the front of the camera to detect any movements in a field (the trigger distance is up to 65ft (20m) ).You can set the length of the video between 3 to 59 seconds or 1 to 10 minutes. The trigger time is 3 seconds ( the description says 0.3s trigger time but I think it is 3 seconds instead of 0.3 seconds), so I recommend you to set up the length of the video to at least 5 seconds to record a good video.There are three modes: image, image + movie, or movie. You can choose resolutions but a higher resolution needs a larger capacity memory card.The setup of the camera is simple and easy as there is a manual to follow. You can choose from ten languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, etc.). Also, you can set the date and time so that you can know when the image and video are taken.You have to prepare an SD card and 8 x AA batteries yourself. If you turn the camera on all the time, the batteries run out very fast. So I recommend you to turn it off or set the activating time period if you do not need to turn it on all day long. Also, I use a rechargeable battery though it was not recommended to use according to the manual.A wall mount, three screws, and a mounting belt come with the camera, so you can install the camera on a tree stably. There is special instruction regarding installation so that the camera is able to detect animals properly. In addition, a USB cable is included.I am so happy to purchase this camera to hunt wild animals in my backyard. If you are looking for a professional night camera, you would not be satisfied with the quality. However, if you want to order it for your curiosity or excitement, I highly recommend this camera!!!
