Worked instantly on zoom when app was opened after plug in. Very clear picture with a nice wide view. For the price its a great deal so far.

This is a great quality web cam for the price. Easy to set up and the picture quality is great. My only dislike is that it has a very wide view. I use it for work and it shows most of my room whereas previously on my laptop camera it showed only my head/shoulders and the wall behind me. I will probably keep looking for a more narrow view camera

It looks serious and the picture matches. The FOV is really wide (Thats the point). It looks like this is going to work with my Blue Iris system as well. I will update here once I set that up.

Great product . Light weight but good picture and wide view

Excellent wide angle and clarity. I'm using it for small business conference meetings. This camera will do the job for 4-5 people in a small room. The only set back may be the length of the cable, nothing an extension can't fix. Great price for what i'm using it for.

 I LOVE the wide view of the Reolink Duo. With a single camera, I can cover the entire side of a building without a PTZ camera or multiple cameras. The DUO gives me an almost 180 degree view without the fish eye distortion I get from other wide angle cameras. The Duo has two cameras built into it. Each camera is perfectly positioned so that I get one continuous view.There is a slight (and I do mean slight) distortion in the area where the two camera's video joins. I assume this is due to the shape of the lenses and I doubt it could be avoided. Anyway, I am very impressed at how well this camera joins the two videos to make it look like one view.Each internal camera saves its video to a separate file on the SD card. So unless some kind of software is used, that can join two video files side-by-side, I must view the saved videos as if it were two separate cameras. This is not an issue for me at all.The picture quality is excellent! The Reolink Duo gives me a crisp clear view both day and night. Night Vision has multiple options for me to choose from. Reolink gave ME the OPTION to choose the type of night vision I want.1. I can run with no floodlight, no IR lights and get a beautiful full color night view as long as there is some other minimal light source in the area. It has outstanding low-light capabilities.2. I can use the camera's internal floodlight. It is plenty bright and is activated when the camera senses motion with the built in PIR.3. I can use the internal IR lights. This gives me a black and white night vision shot that is very crisp and clear.Motion detection works well. It sometimes mistakes a car for a person (even though you can't see anyone in the car). But I am not drowning in notifications of motion. The AI does a great job of filtering out nuisance notifications.This camera is battery operated. It has an internal rechargeable battery. I can charge this battery with a solar panel (sold separately). In my case, I decided to go with using a standard 5v USB power brick as I have power available where I placed the camera.There are advantages and disadvantages using any battery operated camera.• The advantages are pretty obvious. If you are using a solar panel to charge the battery, there is $0.00 cost in powering the camera. Also, the camera continues to record even when there is a complete power outage.• The main disadvantage is that a battery operated camera is that it is frustrating to view LIVE. Battery operated cameras are optimized to conserve electric power so that it does not drain the battery. It disconnects frequently from a live view. So if I just leave the live view on the screen, I am soon looking at a still shot. In order to go back to the live view, I must reconnect. If I have both cameras of the Duo on screen, a popup warns me I am about to disconnect after I have been watching for 5 minutes and it gives me 20 seconds to override. If I only have one of the two cameras full screens, it will disconnect in about 1 minute and no warning is given.I intended the video I included to demonstrate the wide shot produced by this camera and the amazing low light color night vision only. The video quality you are seeing is greatly reduced due to streaming over the internet in low res. The video produced by this camera has much higher video quality than what you are seeing.Overall, I am VERY happy with this camera. I give it 4 stars!
