I can't figure out how to set the audio. I connected the wire directly to my PC, but there's no sound. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not an audiophile so I honestly can't speak if it gives the best sound quality. The headset is super light weight and last a really long time, 16 hours to be specific if you have it at 50% volume. I use it at much less, and honestly it last so much longer. I haven't had a single mic complaint, and it works for me. The surround sound is pretty decent, I use it for fps games, and at the end of the day, I would rather have convenience than buying a really good headset that is wired, and a attachment mic. If I want amazing sound, thats what speakers are for. When I play games, I don't exactly need the best sound ever, because I'm gaming. For music and movies, thats what speakers are for.

Was a gift so don't know how they work, bought them for my daughter and she never used them, she just bought bud's. I thought these would be better than bud's, I bought 2 set's of a different brand and they were plastic, just as cheap so these are probably plastic too, broke other 2 in half in no time, my buddy had a set looked like rubber but were twice as much. If you get them definitely get the insurance, I thought I liked the style cause I thought I would drop the ear buds out of my ear and not notice it, and lose them all the time they are so small, I have the MPOW over the ear headphones now noise rated for work, and a cheap set of phones for home bluetooth, work better for me. They have a bit of a blind spot on each side, that said; I have blind spot mirrors on my car so not a huge issue for me.

I purchased an Echo dot to use with the Harmony Hub I already had. Setup was a nightmare as I moved it from my home theater to my bedroom with all different equipment. IT took about 3 hours to get everything working right. Make sure you download both Harmony skills to get the most out of it. I can change channels by stating favorites like Sports, NBC, FOX, or by telling Alexa the channel number, I can change inputs without shutting everything down, then starting up again and I can also change the volume, Complex functions won't work unless you say..."Alexa tell Harmony to..." Easy function likes turning the TV on or off do not need the "tell Harmony" to part of the command. You can simply say "Alexa turn the TV on". Don't rename the activities or your favorites might not work and the Harmony activity may not work right. The only thing I can't make happen automatically is to have Alexa connect to my sound bar via Bluetooth. The sound bar uses one of the optical inputs for TV, BluRay and Netflix. I bet I can get that to work if I keep trying different IFTTT commands. To be clear, if the sound bar is not playing sound from the TV or Blu-Ray, I can tell Alexa to connect to it and it will switch the input automatically and connect. What I would like it to do is to connect automatically when the sound bar is available via Bluetooth. The Echo dot performed this way when I was using it with my HK Onyx speaker

I like reading before bed, and I'm usually up a bit longer than my spouse, but I don't want to interrupt his sleep. I have a few book lights, but they have crazy bright led or fluorescent lights and practically light up the room and make it hard for both of us to go to sleep. This light emits more of a warm glow (it has two settings of brightness). It's definitely bright enough to read, but it is also calming, like reading by some candle light. Anyway, I like it!
