Good quality, good support
I got this because sometimes I get tired of having a full strap around my shoulders. It helps a lot to relieve the weight when holding the camera with your hands. It might not be great for people with small cameras and small hands since you can only tighten it as much. Sadly the tripod plate was just a little smaller for mine so I can’t use it that way.

Excellent Camera out of the box.
Out of the box the camera is very easy to and setup and begin using. It only took a few minutes to figure out the basics and make changes I wanted to get the V50 working the way I wanted. Compared to other models of cameras it is a little more expensive than some but has a lot of extra features that make it worth the money. I am looking forward to many years of use.

Great Camera at a Great Price
I got this as an update to a lower quality Action Camera and I must say, this is quite the improvement! First off the buttons are in very convenient locations and don't leave you forgetting which one is to take the picture and which one is for changing the mode from Picture to Video. The default image settings don't really need to be messed with as they produce great photos in pretty much all light situations inside and out. I am pretty impressed with the smooth video as well. As others have noted, the audio in videos is hard to detect when the protective case is on, but that is expected since it covers the mic. One unexpected bonus is that you can use this camera as a webcam!

Great camera bad batteries
Camera worked great but one battery was bad, when fully charged only lasted 10-15 minutes till dead. Other battery work 2-3 hours in the cold. Mounted to a racing snowmobile to record the RPM and Temps, Negative 11 degree. Used the Video with stabilization and worked good as the High End brand. Buying another case to mount on second race sled. I leave the case permanently mounted and only remove camera between races. Very happy with this purchase worked in the cold except for the battery being bad.

Overall good camera for the money
Took the camera to Hawaii to use it for the first time, on a boat and snorkeling trip. Overall the underwater video turned out pretty great! The picture was pretty steady and clear for the majority of the time, even better than I expected. That said, for regular photos, there is a noticeable fisheye distortion to many photos, and the sun created a significant glare. This may be totally fine for most action photos, but I wish we would've just used our smart phones for the majority of our photos. I have never used a go pro, so I don't know if that is any better, or if it is just a limitation on this type of camera.The only other minor complaint is that the software isn't the best. It took several attempts to transfer photos to my phone using the built in wifi. Videos wouldn't transfer at all, and had to do manually using my computer at a later date.For the money, I think it is a great camera that would work well for most peoples needs, and would recommend it.

Awesome Underwater Camera is Amazing!
I purchased the AKASO V50 to go on vacation. I was mainly going to be filming underwater and the picture quality for filming underwater was EXCELLENT! It was better than I had expected! It was better than a more expensive GoPro! The AKASO was so easy to operate and also did excellent filming all of the different landscapes. I would recommend the AKASO to anyone! Such a great camera at a great price.

A great camera at a fantastic price!
If you're looking for a good action camera, you can't go wrong with the AKASO V50 Elite model.Tons of features at an incredible price. It also comes with quite a few high-quality accessories.It also has voice control which is cool.

Camera is great, especially for the price. I haven't used all the options yet, but everything I have used works great.

Great Camera, small price!
Loved the functionality and size. Great value. Took it to Egypt to dive in the Red Sea! No issues at all. Small learning curve.
