I'm very pleased with my camera,the Tech that helped me with the set-up was so very helpful and I will be more than happy to recommend the Amcrest IP2M to family and friends.

I absolutely love this wifi camera. The picture is very clear, the color is outstanding....and set-up is a snap. The night vision is amazingly clear in total darkness. I added this wifi cam to view my backyard because I already had two (2) Sharx IP cams in the front yard. I have all of them going into my Amcrest NVR, model # NV4108 for 24 hr. recording. I needed some help due to my cable company fixing the line which totally disrupted my viewing. That's when I called Amcrest support and true to their word they immediately fixed everything my cable company had messed up. I want to thank Nelson D. who was professional, courteous, patient, and very competent in his field. He had my camera's up and working within 20 minutes, and I can now see them all on my NVR Monitor, iPad, and iPhone with the Amcrest Mobile app. I would recommend Amcrest products to my friends because they are top of the line....and the customer service technicians, especially Nelson D., are so very competent. It took us some time to figure it out. The IP address assigned to the extender is different from the one given in the instruction. Once we access the extender IP and update the firmware, ex3700 works great with it's full speed.

Plug and play. Works well. Like the spotlight feature.

There are a lot of IP cameras out there that looks similar and have similar specifications but speaking from experience, they are not the same. This is the third pan/zoom/tilt IP camera that I have purchased in the past year. I was disappointed in the performance, documentation and stability of the previous cameras I purchased from other manufacturers. This time I spent a little more and couldn't be happier. Setup was easy with very good documentation. Stability of viewing and controlling the camera from my iphone is flawless. I had previously thought my wireless router was the problem. It wasn't. You realize this is a very high quality product as soon as you begin to open the box.

This is a really nice camera for a good price and I was connected with the phone app and blue iris within minutes. I can easily read license plates over 100’ away with the optical zoom. We have two other security cameras with decent picture quality, motion detection, BUT accessible only thru an app on a mobile device. This feature limits their functionality by quite a bit.The Reolink camera was a bit pricier, but one gets all the features of a real security camera, from the ability to monitor it on a computer, record with pre-motion and post-motion settings, and selection between ‘Person’ / ‘Vehicle’ / ‘Others’.It was easy to set, after fully charging with USB charger. Download the app on your phone, set it up on your network. Once it is all up, I set it up on the computer, easy task as well.See screenshot where I first zoomed in on the street. The purpose was to show the very decent resolution – magnify and still left with enough info to generate a visible picture. A very important feature in a security camera where you want to get details from parts of the area surveilled by the camera.At night the pictures quality is more than acceptable and details can be seen. The solar charging is perfect since I made sure the panel is exposed to sun for at least 4 hours a day.The only weird stuff – the system reads the hour correctly, but the time stamp is one hour ahead. I have to read a bit and fix this non-critical issue.

I have several of these, the oldest now for several years. Image quality is excellent. And now that the latest firmware update replaced the old plugin with javascript so no more plugins! I did have to update even the newest camera with latest firmware, but its easy to do. Once updated, works right away in Chrome & Firefox that I tested. Night vision is excellent for such a low cost camera. Controlling the camera with just with a web browser is nice, no App required (but is avail if desired). I use with a Win10 PC and Chrome browser and the Amcrest IP Config exe application to find and access after installation. One camera is WiFi on a porch and another is wired ethernet on a back stoop.NOTE: these are not outdoor cameras, but if in a protected area, are fine. Though, I have NOT tested below 40F temperatures, but can say they are fine even at >95F!) :-)
