I had to return the camera . . . . Customer Service from both VIKERI and Amazon was great. I sent an email to VIKERI Sunday night and had a reply on Monday morning.

Un vero gioiellino! Utilizzata soprattutto nelle mie lunghe escursioni in mtb e nelle uscite di trail running, produce delle immagini nitide e stabili. Ha una ricca dotazione di accessori e con due batterie hai piu' di due ore per i tuoi video. Condiderando il prezzo, un ottimo affare!

Piccola e con una grande risoluzione, tanti accessori a disposizione. La uso per trail running e per trekking montano così da poter fotografare e filmare tutte le emozioni che vivo.

This is an update to my earlier review:After swapping the two camera positions over a single 14 hr. period, the Vikeri doubled the overall number of recordings, 52 vs. 25, and 10 were nighttime rat encounters that the Hansview totally missed. I'm not sure why the Hansview failed to capture any of the same encounters but in the end it only matters what the Vikeri recorded since the Hansview had lost most of it's IR LED function and will be scrapped.I also had both cameras record into early morning for bird/squirrel encounters since these would be another good test for small animal encounters. They both did well, but the Vikeri outperformed the Hansview, by 50% or more.In the end, I'm still stymied by the opossum being missed 3 times, maybe it has evolved a new "stealth" feature!!As I found with my Hansview when it was missing many rat encounters, "positioning is everything!" And in this test it may be true.I re-emailed Vikeri's CS, directly vs. their online form, and received a response in 24hrs. I was happy with the response time but the reply didn't address some of my questions.All in all, the more I use the Vikeri the more I like it, especially its video quality and the fact it allows a 128GB SD card. I guess I'll be keeping it after all. 10-12 ft. but is missing animals at closer distances. It's set to "high sensitivity" and I have it on a dedicated PSU. Unfortunately, it's the shorter distances and smaller animals (rats) that I need it for!!SO, do I return it as "faulty" for another try or return it for refund?? I sent an email to CS, and I am waiting for their reply.
