The sound quality on this thing is great. The bass bumps way more than you'd expect. This is my second one. Had the first for about three years and it still works. Gave it to my son who uses it. The cage came off by the second year. This version fixed that issue. I work 10-12 hours a day driving a hyster 120. This speakers sits in my paper holder all day long. Cutting through all that sound my forks make. It you are looking for something to mow your lawn with. This speaker is perfect. A bunch of people I know have bought their own after hearing mine. I've had this one for about a year now and it still holds charge. I use it 5 says a week all day long. I've tried others both cheaper and more expensive. This is the best one I've found. AMy partner uses a JBL and this thing drowns that speaker out everytime I drive by and costs 60 bucks less. Pyle has nothing on these. I've tried that bazooka they sell and it wasn't as loud, had no bass in comparison, and died fast. Oontzs' only competition, in my opinion, is in the Bose level pricing.The build: this thing is tough. Tougher than even the older models. I drop it about five feet everyday. My pyle broke after a few drops. The drop a lift of metal studs on my old one and all it did was damage the cage assembly. The case integrity is still strong. It still bumps.Cons. Sometimes I activate surround sound. Not sure how it happens or how to stop it. I turn it off and on. It doesn't change the sound. I just worry that orange light is drawing more battery than I want it to. That's it.

The price and sound quality is really good. Volume is very loud. I’ve heard it at max but it’s too pound to run for a long period of time. The bass production is really good for the size. Clean and has some rattle to it when is asked. Mids and highs are clear and clean.It’s best when used in pairs. The duo mode is awesome. The app sucks tho. It’s like an afterthought or something to have dual mode to sit on. Other than that. Probably the worst eq I’ve seen. But the hardware used in conjunction with the music player more than makes up for any shortcomings the app may have. You don’t even needed it past set up for pairing up the speakers the first time in duo. Also the charge time is crazy. But the battery last a long time.TLDR: would recommend. Good quality sound and volume.

I use this for my computer, so it almost never leaves my desk. However, when it does it works like a champ. Only one small issue I have with it is that whenever I have it plugged in charging, it powers on and refuses to turn off until it is unplugged. Kind of annoying, but overall not a big deal.*Update: Found out that the issue I had was due to using an insufficient power cable (I lost the original cable and used one I had on hand) since I purchased a new high-speed USB-C cable I've had 0 issues with this speaker at all. Changing my rating to 5-stars, love this speaker, been using it every day whether it be at my desk, in the shower, or out with friends.

For the price this is one of the best amps I have found. The bass and treble are well balanced and the volume can be turned up without distortion so typical of other amps in this price range. It works well anywhere in the house or outside in the yard. I love it.
