Great Headphones - Choose the Arctis 5 and AVOID t
I purchased the Arctis 3 elsewhere and the sound quality was not good so I was wary when I purchased the Arctis 5. The USB input is the key that makes the sound quality so much better. The Arctis 5 is where it's at spend the extra bit of money and skip the Arctis 3.The first time I started using these headphones my friends all made comments on the quality improvement of my mic sound. Now with these as a replacement for my standard headphones I'm very happy.

Great for school and teenagers.
Lightweight, comfortable, and decent sound quality. Pretty good for the price. My daughter has used these headphones for the last 8 to 10 years for school. They last about 2 years before replacement.

Great sound for budget headphones.
Bought these after reading the reviews, After my current sony headphones broke, I must say they are overall good quality, The sound across the range is crisp with punchy tight bass, and the sound stage feels wide which is good going for closed back headphones, they sound like open back headphones with a natural feel to the sound stage, you can pick up plenty of details which would not be there with bass oreientated headphones, these dont need to be tuned towards the low end, with the 50mm drivers they sound great and have plenty lows mids and crisp highs, even on a flat EQ,Build quality is good for the price range, Nothing stellar here but are good quality and dont feel cheap or likely to break anytime soon, you will be hard pushed to find something better for this price range i feel you would really need to have your bar raised high not to like what these have to offer, In terms of just sound alone these easily are on par with my Sonys which cost 3x as much,Would definately recomend.

Can't go wrong with m40x
Very good headphone for the price. Good strong bass and quality highs. Mid-range doesn't get lost. Stock pads are bad. Got the Brainwavs hm5 pads for this and comfort improved, but the sound quality suffered a bit. So basically your sacrificing comfort for good sound. Would recommend these headphones. Good for both playing games and listening to music.
