It has such a great quality to it! The only issue that I have is that it picks up ALL the noise. I suppose a condenser would fix that problem.. Still new to the idea of using this.. but to stream with I suppose it will be a good start.

Pros:good audio quality, no need for phantom power or other equipment. if you're a beginner on a budget or don't need a fancy setup this is a one-and-done buy.Cons:depending on your setup the spherical shape can be somewhat bulky and awkward. does not fit a standard shock mount or have an XLR connector. if you're a quiet speaker you may need to keep the mic within about a foot from your face.Other thoughts:the pickup pattern on this mic is basically a full hemisphere in front of the mic. so placement is kind of critical as it can and will pick up your PC fans, keyboard clacking, and any other sounds in the room. i was able to filter out the sound of my PC fans pretty easily with software and now it sounds great. I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about the sensitivity to background noise but this pretty much comes with the territory of condenser mics. if you want zero background noise without a soundproof studio or any post-processing, get a dynamic mic.overall the advantage of this mic is that it's very easy and cheap to set up, requiring no extra hardware/equipment or even software. this makes it a good choice for beginners, but anyone wanting serious, professional audio will probably want to look into a real studio mic

Gave to 12 year old grandson. He’s taking full advantage of all features. On a middle school track team and loves the tracking features.

My son wanted it for Christmas so I got it. He was extremely happy. He says it works great and his friends can hear him clearly when he live streams on his games.
