I’ve tried a few types of magnetic holders and this one is the best so far. The one downside is the length of the blades are different between cars/trucks and the arm on the holder could be slightly longer. This will also work better if your vent blades are flat or have little curve. But overall I really like how solid it holds the phone and ease to take phone on and off.

It is an oil filter, so its hard to give a really in depth review. It is from a reputable manufacturer, and has the hex nut on the end for the times it is stubborn and hard to get off. Can really be a lifesaver at times. As always with Amazon, great service and great price.

Update: the seller reached out to me after my initial review, and sent me a new unit. This new unit worked perfectly well, exactly as expected, both paired to my iphone via bluetooth as well as with FM radio. 5 stars for the quality/price ratio of this new unit, as well as the responsiveness of the seller.Original review: Pairing with a phone via bluetooth was relatively easy. The phone could control the speaker, and touching the buttons on the speaker I could control play, stop, and volume on the phone. However, no sound came out of the speaker. I tried every possible solution, including everything mentioned in an Amazon video--nothing. At the very least this unit was a dud. HIghly disappointed!
