These are pretty top heavy, but really great for the price for a starter!

Never had an action cam before, so I am new to how to use these. It was a little hard for me to setup, but I am not technically savvy either. I have used it attached to a rifle, a fishing pole, and a crossbow. I bought a different accessory that made it possible to attach it to those. It is nice that the aftermarket or go pro accessories fit on it.

This would be the camera you purchase to replace by another camera once you decide this is your thing. The camera is small, comes with many attachments which is good. The directions leave a lot to be desired. You have to take the various attachments and figure out what goes where and how. If you have some mechanical skills you should be able to figure it out.The video quality is decent. It is an older model so the newer models have much higher video quality. I'm simply stunned that you cannot download pictures or video without their cable! Whoever thought of this didn't think this through at all. It will charge with any cable... but really you need their cable to do tethered downloads?!?!?!?!?! Wow.You can download pictures and videos to your smartphone and tablet. You can also remove the card (not included) and with an adapter connect it to your PC. My problem is why would I want to have to track this cable when I have 30 other cables from everything else I've bought. What happens if the cable breaks?Anyway, picture quality is acceptable, compatibility with GoPro seems to be true.Underwater housing for camera seems to work properly. The remote which is nice is splashproof.... not water proof. Go into the water once and well... good luck.Now consider what you are paying compared to its competition... you are paying less.
