 I ordered the V50 elite, wasn't sure what to expect, but for the price and what came with it I decided to take a chance. I was totally impressed, this is the little camera that could, the video quality is amazing! And it fits in the palm of my hand. The back is a little monitor, which I'm not used to in cameras of this size, so it makes setting up your shot super easy, playback as well. Another great feature is the wristband remote which i shot in the video, plus you can stop and start video and take pictures with voice commands (which is really handy if you're shooting on your own IMO). Easy set up and plugged right into my PC for editing no problem. As good if not better than gopro for a third or half the price. Highly recommended!

I originally had a GoPro Hero 3 that I would take with me on all my ski trips and decided to use it cliff jumping on the coast of Croatia and it failed on me at the worst time (water got into in the waterproof casing). I realized that the risk of losing cameras at that price point was too much for comfort and had heard good reviews of this brand from a friend. I decided to try one of the basic models w/o image stabilization and was disappointed enough to upgrade to this particular model immediately after that trip. The stabilization was much better in this model and acceptable for skiing, although it could still be a bit smoother in my opinion. Overall video and picture quality is great. I did notice some color imbalance on some videos while it was snowing heavily (it appears the camera got a bit confused with lighting conditions and ended up capturing things in a bit of a blue hue, but eventually corrected). Batteries could also have a longer life, they definitely did not last as long as advertised if you are skiing in < 20 degree weather and I could have used about 3-4 to last throughout the day vs the 2 that were included. The wrist control comes in handy in colder weather so you don't need to take your gloves off. What made this purchase great was everything was completely compatible with my existing go pro clips and so I didn't have to re-mount anything on my helmet and can still use my existing floating hand-held camera mount. I bought this just before a major ski trip and literally opened it up on the airplane and had everything figured out within an hour. This camera caught some of the most epic powder days at Squaw Valley and Homewood just as covid-19 put an end to the season. Looking forward to using the camera on my next trips.

I purchased this camera for my 8 y.o. son who loves to explore the outdoors. He absolutely loves it and can operate it very easily. I have quite a bit of experience using different GoPro models and believed them to be the only action camera out there worth buying. However, after doing some research, I decided to give the AKASO V50 Elite a shot and was pleasantly surprised the moment I unboxed it. The build quality appeared solid and it does not feel like a piece of junk in your hand. So far, the performance and image quality have been acceptable for what we use it for. 5 stars for ruggedness as it easily withstands the abuse of an 8 year old wilderness explorer. Haven't taken it underwater yet, but it's on the list. Definitely recommend this camera for travel and outdoor trips.

Great camera especially for the price. I’ve used quite a bit for school projects and has work well. Works really well in rainy situations.

I was looking for a nice camera for my brother but didn't want to overspend on a Go Pro. The AKASO V50 was the perfect blend of quality and price.From all accounts, it was easy to operate with great video and picture quality. Really glad I went with this option!

My wife and I both are really happy with this purchase. We first used it during our Honeymoon in Disney and everything looks great.

As good as a Go Pro comparing product capabilities and it comes at a lower price. I would buy this again!

I bought this camera looking for a high quality underwater action camera, but without wanting to break the bank on a GoPro. It is awesome! Brought it on a recent trip to Puerto Rico and it surpassed all of my expectations. I brought it with me while snorkling and to some remote beaches and was extremely impressed with the vibrance of the colors and the photo quality. Have had a few issues with connecting to the app and sometimes it quits, but I've always been able to get my pictures downloaded to my phone. Zoom gets a little grainy when you zoom in a lot, but not a huge issue. Would definitely recommend!
