I bought this camera for shooting vlogs while kayaking fishing in Puerto penasco mexico. The video quality at 4k 30 was better than expected, and the built in mic was better than other action cams I have had in the past. There was one major issue though, the sound would unsync after 1 min. Pretty much made the audio unusable.I contacted xtu customer service and to my surprise, they responded the same day with a firmware update and instructions on how to install it. It fixed the issues!!! I am shocked at how good the camera is for the price point and couldn't be happier with xtu and the product. The app needs a little work, but hardware is sound and works better that expected. I also resumed shooting on h.265 format (alot of cameras don't offer this option), it takes the down load time to half in the app.

This is an excellent camera. We bought it as a birthday gift for my 7 year old but my 3 y.o is using it as well. I wanted a big screen and kid friendly camera. My daughter specifically mentioned that she does not want "instant pictures camera as my friends have" since those ones 1) require to constantly purchase supplies and 2) worse quality. She wanted something like smart phone when you can see what you are filming on the screen plus can scroll through pictures. I did extensive research and this is perfect. I am VERY impressed with the quality of it, boy technology went far! I am buying this one as a Xmas gift for my 3 y.o now since she wants the same. Thank you

This camera makes it easy to capture POV content. Its so small that you can put it anywhere and it has a magnet built in so you can easily stick it on things. The chest pendant is strong enough to stay connected even with lots of movement. I've taken it mountain biking and the magnet stays connected. A couple features that make it easy to use is the horizon lock and flow state stabilization. The Horizon Lock keeps the horizon completely level the entire time. You can rotate the camera 360 degrees and the horizon stays level and you wont see it rotating. Such a rad feature especially for action sports. The Flowstate Stabilization will keep your shot stable and you wont see all the bumps.

 I bought this camera to see if I could use it to record what is behind me on bike rides. Since most crashes are from the back it gives me a little peace of mind while I'm biking. I uploaded a short video of part of my recording while biking.As you can see the picture quality and amount captured is really good for $18. The audio is a hot mess since there is a lot of movement of the camera (there is no audio in the video because I screen recorded the small part of the video.) Luckily I didn't buy it for the audio. It records continuously for 20 minutes tops. So on my commute that day I rode 20 minutes out and then started recording to see quality. I attached the waterproof case to the left side of my rear rack basket (see photo) with the provided velcro strips. It comes with a lot of pieces for mounting and carrying the camera in different ways. For stability and to get the best image of the approaching cars in the lane next to me I found the velcro was better. I might order another one and mount it to my front handlebars.If my ride is more than 20 minutes (it typically is) I stop every 18 minutes and restart the camera to make sure I capture the whole ride. The camera holds a charge for quite awhile and I have had success using it to record two hours of biking round trip. I charge it nightly so I haven't really tested the full extent of the battery.Mine did come with a micro sd card. I bought a small usb converter for my mac book dongle. Due to the file type (.avi) I did need to download the free app 'omni player' to play the files on my macbook. For that app you just drag and drop the video into the player to see it. They have an app for converting to different file types called 'omni converter' as well.I highly recommend this camera for outdoor recordings.

I am constantly searching for the best way to capture my family trips. I own several GoPros and other Insta360 camera models, including the previous generation GO 1. I purchased GO 2 after watching some positive reviews on YouTube and being impressed by all of the improvements Insta360 made over the previous model. I received the camera over the weekend and had an opportunity to test it out during a family day trip to the beach. WOW! I seriously can't believe how much fun it was! The biggest difference makers for me were the live preview and the upgraded image quality, which elevated the camera from a cool toy to a serious every day capture tool. I take pride in shooting the best quality footage possible and having a chance to change my camera settings to optimize my shot was a huge game-changer for me. The 10 minute clip capture was another big upgrade over the previous version as I wasn't constantly looking at the camera to check if it was recording or not. I noticed the stabilization was similar (or better) than my GoPro. It's incredible that Insta360 was able to do this with such a tiny camera. I mostly used the camera with the magnetic accessories that come in the box but I noticed you can also use it while it's in the charge case. Pretty nifty. I also found that I can stick it right on my car without needing any additional accessories. Not sure I recommend this but it worked for my whole drive! The camera lasted pretty much the whole day and died while shooting my very last clip. If you pop it into the case every so often, battery shouldn't be an issue. We'll see how it goes as I start using it more.In terms of editing, I usually do all myself but I am excited to try out the auto editing software once I capture some more clips.I have just skimmed the surface with this camera's features and I will surely be exploring it more over the coming weeks. Definitely a great purchase! Recommend 10/10!

Got this camera for myself and my mother on a trip to the FL Keys. They did their job wonderfully and got some decent quality photos underwater during a snorkeling trip. They were underwater for several hours on multiple days and still work perfectly! The quality isn't the best, but that's to be expected. I'd highly recommend these little cameras to anyone looking for a budget underwater option for a bit of fun on vacation!

I absolutely love INSTA360 and ALL of their products! I have been an avid owner and user of their cameras and accessories for a couple years now and their products only get better! From Behind the scenes of my shoots to entire music videos - They can do it all! I love the GO-2 - it is my new favorite camera. The size is fantastic and the image is unbelievable. I HIGHLY recommend for anyone - from novice vloggers to experienced filmmakers- it's a must have!
