Some issues with loose mount hinge and buggy light
ProsPicture/microphone quality is good for web conferencing and the light is a nice feature.ConsBecause the mount hinge is so loose, the camera needs to be readjusted every time the privacy cover is opened or the light's touch controls are used. It would be nice if you could tighten the hinge so it doesn't open so easily.Occasionally, the light's touch control will stop working and the USB cable needs to be unplugged and plugged back in again to reset it.

Good Value Option.
Good magazine for the kindle newsstand subscription price. Just at the moment you can buy the individual magazine as it comes out for 82p, which is even better. That’s what I do. Obviously, you can’t compare this with New Scientist, but it’s much cheaper and still pretty good.

An enjoyable, fun publication
I purchased this for the kindle app on my iPad (I have the old kindle with the keyboard and did not bother with it on there as you really need a colour screen to benefit from this magazine). I just wanted something interesting and informative to while away a dull afternoon. I can honestly say I got just that.The magazine is very simple to navigate and easy to understand.For anyone wishing to learn some interesting scientific topics, I would suggest this as the one to get. Very enjoyable with a wide range of topics to choose from.

Science News Kindle is Great!
I have read how some magazines for Kindle are better than others. Well, this is one of the best! They have a table of contents that allows you to view & go-to sections and articles. They also include many of the photographs, tables, and graphs from the original magazine. These are great quality and can be zoomed-in on so you can see any details you may wish to examine. The articles are finely formatted and easy to read. I am very pleased with it and the price is amazingly low! I recommend this to anybody who appreciates intelligent updates on scientific research from all over the world in a variety of fields.

Great for the layman scientist.
I have read many different "Science" magazines that ranged from super intense mathematical and technical, to super silly even for sixth graders. This magazine is both enjoyable to read, and is informatative without making me feel stupid. I enjoy the entire magazine, not just certain sections as with most others. The publisher cover a wide range of scientific subjects in an informative manner without being superficial. I highly recommend this magazine to anyone even curious about the different disiplines in the scientific community. Great for everyone.

good, well written magazine
I bought this on kindle, so no colour photos. I would probably buy the physical magazine next time. Learned why short sightedness is becoming a global epidemic- make your grandchildren play outdoors to encourage their eyeballs to grow correctly

More than a snippet, but not by much.
Perfectly acceptable read if you want a brief overview, without a lot of depth. Bought it once to try, probably won't again though. If that's your thing then it's fine. Try it and see.
