Decent picture with some issues
This flexigo offers decent picture with a few small issues to be aware of: 1) the Privacy toggle is just a cheap stick-on one. The product page makes it look like a nice one integrated into the camera design. If history of other cameras is an indicator, it may not stay on well. I thought I was getting the wrong product because nowhere on the packaging does it say it has the privacy screen. It's just the cheaper camera with stick ons in the box. 2) the clamp tension is very week compared to others. I'm not positive it's going to stay attached to my monitor and may end up sticking tape on it. 3) it's very bright even with the lights off. Comparing to my macbook camera, on a cloudy day the macbook needs extra light and I end up turning on 100 lights (why I picked this camera in part), but this light was painfully bright in the same location, washing out my image. I closed window shades and that seems to work now. If it's bright in your space, this may be too bright. If it's low light this is probably great.I haven't had occasion yet to use the ring light in lower light. Seems bright though. All in all, this is a good improvement over the built-in camera but not a competitor to higher end ones. Price does equal quality. Should be good for work meetings, probably not streamers.

Excellent action camera for the money!

I purchased the AKASO EK7000 to take on a trip to Curacao as I knew much of our vacation time would be spent in the water, and I didn't want to spend the money on a GoPro. One of the accessories included with the camera is a waterproof case that worked perfectly. I have attached sample pictures and videos for reference, although we had overcast skies during most of our trip so I expect that some of the underwater pictures would been even better with more sunshine. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. However, I would highly recommend purchasing an underwater selfie stick if you plan on using it in the water as the camera is quite small.

Okay camera with several flaws.

Anran Security CameraI have been trying several security cameras for use at home and my business. Other than a well known brand I only have one other that is actually useable. The others I’ve tried have great camera specs but lack the proper software to control or use them. In almost all cases the issues are in motion detection, either erratic or non-functional. This has decent software but the hardware is lackluster. When compared with my very well known brand, none of these even come close to that image quality, yet the better brand is only $20-$30 more. I am comparing this one to a similar type from Amazon not my better brand. (I also purchased a 64Mb micro SD card for videos.)PROS:- Image quality and motion, as seen on screen is very good.- Easy setup.- Motion is very fluid and not choppy.- Night mode is very good.- Record length can be set to long intervals.CONS:- Power and Reset buttons do not reset easily.- Motion detection can be hit and miss.- Video recording has a big lag before starting.- Does not capture true HD.- Not suitable for zooming in for detail.- Color quality is poor and washed out in any sunlight.- May have to Reset after changing some settings.- Wi-Fi not as strong as some I have.- Some menu items are not fully intuitive.- Time settings do not work.INITIAL PROBLEMSMy first problem was the camera was not charged so I used the provided USB to micro cable to charge it. Unfortunately the cable did not work and I had to use one of my own, which did work. Once charged I was able to get started. (NOTE: This charged overnight for over 12 hours but there was no indication it was actually charged, but it did turn on.) However, I had two issues, the On/Off button and Reset buttons would not work correctly. (Image) I had to push and hold each at slightly different angles multiple times in order to get a response from the camera. I tried with and without the cover but the previous attempts were after removing the cover. From there, registering and setting up was easy.Final image quality in SD and HD were the same and very poor quality, especially when zoomed in. Essentially all the HD mode is doing, is interpolating the SD to the larger HD file size. (Images) In other words if you wanted to zoom in for more detail, you get nothing that is useful since it’s so pixilated. (The sign against the tree to the left actually has 3 bold black ducks on it, but you can barely see that it is a dark yellow yet alone see any black images.) In any sunlight the colors are washed out but under cloudy conditions the colors are slightly better. (Image comparison.)I took photos with an existing camera and this one at the same location and time. (I tried this in the same location as my existing wifi camera but it would not work. I had to move it to get a signal.) My current camera is much better, especially when zoomed in. This one is very pixelated, so much so as to make it useless for detail. A look at the grass alone in the foreground is pretty much useless. The color quality is also not as good. (Image)On the Custom Alert setting screen some page information in this setting does not display correctly, as the alert at the bottom of the screen. Some of the menu items, especially those with the 3 lines, top left, are not intuitive for navigating back. You have to click the 3 lines and select Devices to get back. This should be on any of the other screens. (Images)ACTUAL USE AT 3am.Initial image quality and motion, as seen through the app on my iPhone is very good. Night mode works very well. The motion on this is as it should be, not choppy as my other camera. The other advantage this has over my current camera is the record duration… it can go much longer whereas my current camera only provides 15 sec. intervals which is a real pain. I’ve been trying to capture what was in our backyard at night and this finally caught the culprits. (Video) I have since moved the camera to get a better video. The objects were off screen by the time the Record started, something I’ve seen with some other cameras. Because of this I could not actually capture the video with the software but use the Record Screen function on my iPhone to get this video.I’m not happy about the inability to zoom in for any detail or anything larger than the iPhone screen or the ability to set any schedule. However, the video it captured was very good, so I'm giving it 4 stars.

Awesome camera for little ones!
This is an absolute treat for any little one who wants to have their own camera. I purchased this for my 5 year old and it has been the biggest hit so far. It comes neatly packaged in a small box. At first glance, it's very small but for young ones, it's literally the perfect size. It comes with a lanyard and a 32GB memory card which I was actually really happy with (nothing like a camera asking for more space, so this was a great plus).Upon turning it on, it takes you to a menu with 6 options to choose from. It has a camera, a video recorder, gallery view, settings, games and music. This alone was worth it because a camera that also includes games is definitely a plus, especially when taking trips to places like zoos and wanting something that can distract them in the meantime. the quality is good and I will not complain at all with it. What I like most is it has a built in front facing camera which I didn't even know came on it. It also has pre-installed frames and stickers that can be used when taking pictures. It makes the perfect package for a young photographer. Would highly recommend for a gift, present or a just because purchase.

great starting action camera
So far so good. This is a great little camera to get started with if you're interested in action cameras like the GoPro, but can't afford one of those just yet. I've never had a GoPro, but so far I'm satisfied with my Akaso. I'll probably be buying another one for my kid so he can start learning how to take pics and video.

Fun film/camera for kids.
When on sale, this is a good buy. Kind of expensive when it is not as this is a kids toy camera. Pics are actually pretty darn good.

A nice starter camera for a child
I got one of these for each of my 11 year old twins for Christmas. They love them! They like the fun addition of a few games. It's small and lightweight. A fun kids beginning camera. I'd love a zoom on it, but realize it would also change the price. I also wish it were bigger. All in all, works well though!

Best budget on camera mic !
this actually sounds almost identical to the rode video mic, a slight bit more airiness but i actually prefer the way it sounds until you start talking about the video mic pro this is a much better budget option then all the other more expensive mic’s in its class. plus i really love the low cut filter and plus 10db volume boost Great option by comica and they do have a shotgun style mic (for a lot more money) that beats the rode video mic pro by a mile. My only complaint is that the output is actually attached therefore if you break the rather skinny wire you’ll be buying a new one however with the money you saved yourself even if you needed to buy a replacement every other year your still miles ahead.
