This is an awesome camera. Easy to use and set up. It makes you look great on a web-cam (clear, bright picture, no fuzziness). I'd highly recommend. I don't think the ring light on the camera does much to change the brightness of your image, but you don't really need it to get a good picture.

Incredible picture
I purchased this to use with Skype. The picture is incredible and is beyond anything I expected. Way better than I see anyone else using on Skype. I attached it to the top of my monitor. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I found it a bit trickier to set up than I expected. It took my a good hour and a bit of trial and error but once I got it working it was great. So you may need a bit of patience but it will be well worth it.I will be buying as gifts for others so they can Skype with me!
