software not included !
I love the camera - great picture. The manual has a lot to be desired though since the font is incredibly small. Best to download the manual - trust me ! The other thing is that you will need to pay for the AMCap software to get it to work. Their demo free of charge shuts off after 15 minutes. It cost me $35 to download it without that restriction. I do not recall if the product description mentioned that the software was an additional expense.

Great Camera use the newest software from the web
This is a great camera highly versatile and works great with Skype. If you have at least 500Kbs upload and 1.5 Mps download bandwidth you can get almost 30 FPS at 640 X 480 resolution.Use the most current software from the web site for best results, the software included on the disk does not allow for best performance from the camera.

Camera is awesome but the software isn't the best.
2021 Update - This camera lasted several years and worked very well! Picture is clear, crisp, and colors are true to real life. It has finally stopped powering on so I'm moving on to a newer model but I highly recommend.The operation controls on the software only come up right when I open the program after restarting my computer. It gets annoying restarting my computer every time I want to use this webcam.

Ease of product.
This has to be the easiest product to install software. It’s so easy that once the smartphone application is installed just sit back and install by selecting the software option you want. This product is 100% easier to install and use. Best is the camera’s battery is not affected by cold weather since there is none.

Software
Works well. Good picture. Everything looked fine until i tried to broadcast. Nothing. I never downloaded software. Does not come with disk or ANY instructions! Went to logitech, downloaded, works fine.

Software aside, great gimball
What can I say. Best gimball I’ve played with. Skip on the software. It’s trash.
