Fun to use mini action camera!
This little action camera is super cute, we have been having a lot of fun playing with it! The sound on mine is pretty decent, especially for such a small little camera. I asked the seller if the new batch with the fixed sound issues was out. I was told the new batch with the sound fix were the black cameras, for the other colors there was a firmware fix at polaroidcube. com .The directions in the enclosed instructions aren't very detailed so I went to the polaroidcube website and downloaded the pdf manual, it is very detailed and it explains all the features of the camera. This action camera comes with a short USB charging cord, a bumper case, a carabiner, lanyard, and a micro SD Card. There is a strong magnet on the bottom of the camera which makes it easy to attach to metal surfaces.Inside of the package there is a small piece of metal that the camera sticks to that kept it from rolling around in the packaging. We took that little piece of metal, and using a piece of double sided sticky tape, we stuck the metal piece onto the top rear area of an old RC car we have. The camera stuck onto the metal and was very secure on the car as we raced it around the house away from, and towards, the house cats. By using the phone app we were able to drive this car all over the house while we sat in the living room. :) The camera has a 124º wide viewing angle which worked great for the videos, not so much for pictures though since it picked up too much background. It did do well in low light conditions though. The app installed quickly on my phone, at first I kept trying to hook it up to my Bluetooth, then I realized it was supposed to go to Wi-Fi so I clicked the Wi-Fi and connected the app to the camera. The connections are iffy at times. Sometimes it will connect up right away, and other times it has taken 5 minutes or more of messing with both the camera and the phone app to get it synced up. Once it links up with the phone app the feed comes through your phone and it is very clear. You can still take pictures and videos with the camera with one or two presses of the top button if you don't want to use the phone app. The advantage of using the app though is you can use your phone as a viewfinder. This camera includes a small 8 GB micro SD card, you can use up to a 128 GB card if you like. When I transferred the pictures and videos, there were a few pictures that looked pretty bad,... not as good as what I was hoping. But then I noticed that I hadn't changed any of the settings and the settings were on the lowest settings. At the top of the screen you can tap the settings to change them, once I did that the pictures and videos came out so much better. It amazes me that something this small can take such good videos and was so much fun to use! This camera has an image stabilization feature that works very well, all the videos we took were stable, even the ones where we had it stuck to the top of an RC car. :)Except for the occasional problem getting the camera and app to sync up with Wi-Fi, I haven't had any issues at all with this camera. It's very cute and fits well in your pocket too. I feel this would make a very nice gift for the holidays. :)Free product sample received for review purposes.

Great action camera for family use
We wanted an action camera to take on our family trip to Cancun. This camera fit the bill perfectly. We were able to take video swimming, snorkeling, walking in the forest to pyramids, etc. It was also great as we were able to use it when it was raining out with no worries. This was a much more affordable option than the more known name brand that does excellent quality video. The photos have a fisheye but that is probably the setting I had it on, I still have to play with the settings more. The kids really liked using it. I thought the volume might be low with the waterproof case on but it was fine wheb we replayed on our computer. All in all this really was a great purchase for our family.

Love camera clarity and ease of use.
I received the camera quickly, it was just as I ordered it and easy to install on my wi-fi network as described. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again from this seller.

Solid camera for motorcycle & car use
Upgrade from the Ghost X which I mislaid...better battery life, and as well as motorcycle use, I've bought the Drift clamp to use as a dashcam in the car, and it's excellent value for money.

Great camera that’s fun to use
I am in love with the Osmo Pocket. I work in live entertainment usually in low light settings, and this handles filming extremely well. Though the face detection struggles if it’s too dark.

This is a great camera for a specific use, it is n
I think this camera is fantastic as a method to document what is happening on a ride. I mount it on my helmet when I inline skate (fitness skating, long distances). I just want a record of what happened if a car does something stupid and hits me or if a dog attacks me, stuff like that. It is absolutely not an "action cam". It won't do image stabilization or any kind of noise cancellation with the mic. But that's fine. Here's what it does do:- It provides a clear enough view of your front and back to see what's going on. If you were in an incident, this camera would tell the accurate story.- It saves videos in MP4 format. I've read reviews of some action cams and many use a proprietary format you have to convert before you can do anything with them. You can simply plug the camera into your computer and pull a video off. Voila. You have your MP4.- It gives me enough battery life for a 2-hour ride. A lot of the fancy action cams won't give you that.- It seems to stay cool, not overheating. Probably because it isn't doing anything fancy with the video as it records. Here's the thing, it's not what I would call perfect. I wish it had better software and I wish it seemed like it was of better quality. I wish the company seemed more accessible from the US (where do you go to find the instructions if you lost them??). But I can't find anything else out there that does what this does. You can spend $500 for a 360 action camera that will have less battery time, will overheat, and will require processing time converting the video if you ever want it to share. If you want to document what's happening from the front and back with one camera, and you want 2+ hours of battery, there's little to nothing else out there that I've seen in 2022. I would like it if there were more product options in this space that offered more features and better quality at a slightly higher price, but that didn't force all the battery-killing features of a proper action cam. Maybe one day. Until then, this will do exactly what you want at a good price. For the record, I had no problem configuring the camera. I'm not sure what reviews stating those problems dealt with. It all seemed pretty clear and worked straightaway for me. You connect to its wifi with your phone, open the app, and configure your settings. I am on a Pixel 5a. Here's the thing, once you configure it, you don't have to connect to it again. I just plug it in to USB to charge and to maybe transfer files off if I want to save something. Don't be dissuaded by fears of config or a low-quality app. You really don't have to touch it after your initial config. And heck, if you want default settings, you don't ever have to touch those things. It's a rugged-enough metal tube. So it seems sturdy, but I do believe some people have experienced varying levels of quality. It doesn't feel premium, but it doesn't feel cheaply made either. Just, it feels like it could be better still.I don't even know where my remote is now. I can't be holding a remote in my hand the entire time I'm riding. So I'm not concerned that the remote doesn't start/stop video. I didn't buy this camera for that.I've had this for 9 months now and have used it regularly during this time.
